REGISTRATION INFO:
Maximum 24 drivers. Can register more as reserve pilots (wildcards) if the holders pilots are not submitted.
To register just have to reply in this post your NICK (in game) and a RACE NUMBER that is not already chosen.

ABOUT THE SKINS:
The skins (Movistar CUP) are provided by the BES Team Staff.

The wildcards should be attentive as if they were official riders. 2 days before the race will be asked for confirmation of attendance to all the riders, included wildcards. If any one confirms not being able to attend, the wildcards will join in that race like official rider by strict order of registry. Wildcards have the same rights as all official riders. That is, they will have the right to score in the championship.

That will look horrible all with the same paints WHY???
It takes away the personal feel of GPBikes and TBO I do not like being told I can not use my own paint. Why not just ensure the Moviestar emblems are on the bikes or are there 24 different paints???

Does it really matter, Red Bull Rookies cup was the same and that looked okay. With a suit and helmet people can be told apart.
But could we at least have our numbers on the bike?

Hi, i can give my place too as i can see there is some very good rider that were late to suscribe. I'm also a noob so i think it will be more interesting for the race to see good rider.
Also, isn'it better to win the place of participating to the race based on some sort of qualification instead of order of registration. May be organizing each night until the first race a qualif where at final the 24 fastest rider will take the start !
And last is there a way to join the race just as spectator ? this will be great if possible (i mean in live).

I must agree with some of the other guys, I am real busy and there is much interest in the race so I think it would be better I step down and let matty take my place.
Really want to get back to racing but life is a box of crappy chocolates lol. I know it takes a riders place to spectate and stream a race but if there is place for it then I would like to try streaming the championship for you guys, that way more can see it live!!!

I'm usually off the pace so maybe I too should give up my place. A q system with all riders (if more than 24 present) seems like a good idea.

I was just wondering if GPbikes is stable enough for such an event? Remember some test not too long ago that wasnt a succes.
And for all riders that feel like they are a noob and not good enough.. participating in these events is going to make you a better rider and is very good practice. You should enjoy participating even if you dont do well.

Because you voluntarily chose to be wildcard when there are still places available.
To be honest having 24 riders on the grid is asking for stability issues and riders not being able to connect to the race server on the night.
Personally I'd lower it to 18 rider slots at most for stability plus a slot for DD to "Live Stream" the event so those that cannot compete can at least watch the event. ;)
Either that or wait till beta 10 is released and hope that the netcode fixes have solved the online stability issues. :)

I guess another test is never a bad thing. I also get the impression that a Beta 10 is not so far away. If online stability improves i will pick up racing again as well, but for now i will be happy to watch.

In this case you should have waited for all the headlines to be complete. It would not be fair for those who really want to compete as a official drivers but have not been able and arrive late.

::) it is not a bad idea, but better to wait the final number of participants in the first race, if It will be close to 40 riders, we should probably do something like this.
Two races would be a solution, but it also takes double of the time. And need also remember that usually in the championships at the second race the riders are fewer.
P.S. Will decide the rest of the team, everything is fine for me.

Worth consisering for the future though perhaps? MotoGP500Online ran like that for years and it worked well. :)
There were actually three races. Two on the sunday(one for the slower riders then the main event for the quick guys) but also one on the thursday beforehand for folk who couldn't make it at the weekend. After the main event the times were all combined to give the final standings.
Made life more entertaining for the slower guys. Brought us all together and even though you knew that winning the race was only going get you 20th or so overall, we still acted like first on the road was something to be fought over. :D
Would also mean us backmarkers weren't in the way of the leaders so much. In GP500 I was usually 3-4 seconds off the pace of the aliens - in GPB I'm still twice that and falling off more often too. Feels like I spend half the race worrying about taking out the frontrunners while they're lapping me.
There were a couple of extra rules. There was a time penalty if you raced outside your assigned sunday room and you couldn't claim a podium, so if one of the quick guys was missing the sunday race they could set a time in the thursday session but if it was a winning time(even with the penalty added) they'd still only get fourth place overall.
That was partly to encourage everyone to race in the correct room at the correct time, partly because the thursday race was generaly lower stress and partly so a podium was a podium in the main event - no-one would be taking it away from you.
The thursday races could be treated as a practice session for riders who were doing their race on the sunday. You had to say beforehand that the thursday race was your OFFICIAL one. If you ran your official on the thursday, that was it - you couldn't show up on the sunday saying your weekend plans had changed and have another go at it.
Man, what a ramble! Sorry. :-[
P.S. Two races can be run at the same time if you have two servers. ;)
