Title: Ping Issues
Post by: RickoAlvio on August 14, 2017, 12:37:16 PM
Hi ..
I'm wondering Why if I join a server that is outside my country like CAWS etc, my ping get bigger than my actual ping.
I asked other riders and they said that I was not lagging. But the opposite happened in my place.
But when I host and play with friends in the same country, everything is fine
It would be great to race with all GPBikes riders around the world. But bothered by lag problems so at close distances I don't know where the other rider positions exactly

It is normal for a person who connects to a server long distance from their location to have a higher ping than if you connect to a local or a server that is in your own country..... It's just the time it takes for your data signal to travel to and from the servers you connect to, and obviously the closer the server is to your location the smaller your ping rate will be. Also helps to have a good fast internet connection that is synced properly.  :)
