Title: Misano Track Question...
Post by: uberslug on September 08, 2017, 11:19:18 PM
Is it me or are Turns 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 nothing like the actual Misano track?

Yep, because it is the track from 2007 ;D

I lost interest in MotoGP for a few years when VR went to the dark side and I restarted racing bicycles so I am not up to speed regarding the changes in track layouts since the early 2000s.

Just to correct you MultiCOOLFRESH: It's not from 2007, it's actually the 2003 version of Misano, hence the track name: Misano 03. It's version is 0.7

There is also a GP version for those that prefer to go in the direction of the modern Day MotoGP, track name: "Misano GP 03 v0.7"

Also an updated "Misano 03 v0.8" version  that has a rebuilt track surface and many holes & gaps sealed which runs in the old GP direction, which I personally think is the best direction to ride the original track layout.

But yeah, this track layout was the original layout which existed up until the end of 2006. ;)
