Wheels on some of the bikes wont work. The textures need to be sorted but this will come later.

Hi,
Good job guys.
I tried the honda and It's a bit difficult to ride but not enough time to judge well.
I tried the yamaha at donnington and it is a really good bikes with good reaction.
One question : what is the best tyre pressure for each bikes ?

One thing i think it must be ameliored:
The qualif tyre, at donnington, could have a bit more longevity, because if tge first lap is made with high speed the second lap will destroy the tyre before the end of the lap.
Thank you very much.

Thank you janaucarre.
The optimal pressure is 2.10 on front, and 2.00 on rear tyre.
We'll take in count the wear of the qualy tyre for the next update.

Hey guys ! Nice work again !

Is it possible to move the 2nd inboard camera a litte bit backward ?? It is completly stuck to the windshield and makes it really difficult to ride. Can you rise it and pull it backward a bit ??

Kisses !

Anyone got any more comments on the bikes from last nights race?

Only that it was good fun, enjoyed the racing. I was going to suggest not running the warm up lap with the excessive DQs. Also think I figured out that if I'm turning to the left when I select gear just before lights out I get too much movement as the V/rider moves to do the gear resulting in a DQ. If I steer to the right the same movement doesn't happen (yet to test this when red lights come on) but might explain 1 reason for a DQ.

Think I missed a load of chat, so why did we switch to Magny Cours?

Hi Teeds yes it was fun but i felt bad for Wimp and others who didnt get away. :(

DONINGTON is a new large track that needs the LAA hack and as such it can take a long time to join. Even longer on a Dynamic version. When the game is more stable it will be fine to race on I'm sure. I think that was the reason for swapping.

Worth reminding others that selecting gear between the lights going out and back on for the start sequence is a known disqual bug for many years  ::)

I didn't get enough track time to be able to give good feedback, but the most obvious comment I can make is that the front tyre/suspension just cannot cope with this track (Suzuki, default apart from gearing). I had to keep the bike well away from max lean in many corners just to avoid the front from folding.  I noticed same thing with Warlock on the Honda. I did try different suspension settings but made no noticeable difference so went back to default. Whether it is just Magny Cours or the bikes, not sure, but a little more front grip would be nice before a test race.

Doesn't that top slow corner here cause this on all bikes? I only found that 1 corner problematic.

Thanks Syd (edit: and Teeds)!

You are right they have to be kept away from max lean on any slow tight turns that have bumps. Too much compared to reality we reckon.

The good news is this fact is already top priority for these bikes. Of interest it has been identified as a Virtual Rider problem not the front grip so that is good (changing front grip to fix issue's is a messy solution that haa knock on effects to handling characteristics).  Keep fingers crossed for next update. ;)

Thanks Vin.

Thanks for the report EL Bastardo.  ;)

There are other reports of GPBikes crashing when attempting to ride in "Wet" weather on other bikes too.... If the bikes operate okay in the dry then it is very likely to be a core-GPBikes beta 13 programme bug and nothing to do with the actual bike-mods.... likely we'll have to wait till the next beta release(as usual) for a fix.......

Maybe Piboso could enlighten us?

I post it as I see some interest in the setup for this bikes. I left a chart in attachment to setup the YZR's gearbox.
Cheers.

These bikes are fun, I'm loving it!
Can't connect to Caws server though, get Cagiva bike mismatch. I got the 4 updated 500s, and the Dunlop tyres. The Michelin tyre is not downloading from Mega for some reason, could that be the problem? Thanks.

Thanks Peter.
I think I've figured it out. I originally downloaded the bike set from the Mega bike mod list which gave me bike mismatch. Just now I downloaded from the separate links in Matty's Bike Mod post and it works! Thing is, the file sizes were identical, so didn't expect anything different, but there obviously is.
