oi! downloaded the new version, crashes every time I try to start it
Clean install? not just over the top
When exactly does it crash, As you launch the game. when you load a track/bike etc.
it crashes while loading

i hit play the window pops up but is just black screen adn seconds after it crashes
Did you do a clean install. So delete everything in the GPB folder and in the my documents folder (Aprat from the licence file)
Then intall GPB beta 12b again.

looks like I did an install over the former folder but now I cant find the license file rip

can not install bike mods - instead the GP 17 an the honda rcv 213 (only the street version with mirrors)
other bike categorys are invisble after putting them into the bike folder...... tryed it a few times - but the same error...
I SUCKS.......
Anyone can help ?
What folder are you putting the bikes in?
They need to be in the "GP Bikes\gpbikes\bikes\" folder
And you have also installed the tyres?

yes in the bike folder witch i have created first. The Moto GP bikes and the honda 310 (street) working fine - i also have istalled the tyre files in the extra tyres folder.
30 min. ago i tried to install the minitwin SV 650 with the second file from the tyres section. Extract the files in the bike/tyres folder an restart the sim. After that i was not able to see the new category "minibike" - the same issue with a few other bikes . I know that not all bikes work with the 12b - but i saw that the SV650 file in the mega list wa spretty new - so i expected that the file would work.....
But is not working.
You dont have to unpack the .pkz files. Just put them straight into the bikes folder.
Make sure you have also downloades the tyre files for the bikes. They go in a seperate folder called tyres
GP Bikes\gpbikes\tyres\
i tried that - copy and paste the pkz file from the GP 500 yamaha in the bike folder. but no new bike in the GP 500 section.... :-(

here are the creenshots from my main folder, bike, tyre and track sections. from the bike folder only the MOtO GP bikes and the honda RCV312 (here only the street version/i have installed the Kit model also but it can not be seen.

Okay i can see your problem
Can you see in the file name the (1),(2) or (8 ). They shouldn't be there. You must have downloaded a few copies of the same bike/tyre :P
Remove them from the names and the bikes should work.

also for some reason all the PKZ files have winrar icons now wtf
The .pkz files are re-named .zip files (i belive pkz stands for packed zip)
Just leave the bike in the .pkz and they shouldn't cause any issues.

Winrar can open the pkz files. that is why they appear as Winrar files. Dont worry
Have you installed the ssp600 tyres.

Nope, they go in the

Thanks to matty after i have deleted the numbers the bike mods work. but i am still not able to get the HONDA cbr 600 and the Honda RCV 213 Kit Verson working.
I installed them in the bike folders. Also i installed the tyres for these models but the bikes can not be seen after installation.
Anybody got an idea ?

here are two sreens from my computer. The Bike and the tyres folder. I can not install the Honda CBR 600 (Road Version) - is the bike just updated ? can not find it in the bike mods. Like to install and ride this baby because i own one by myself :-)
The other problem - the Honda RCV (KIT Version) is not working and can´t be found in the bike section. The street legal version is there and runs well (awesome bike !!)
tried to put the tyres components in the bike folder as you told me - but still not running and can not be found. Also i have a problem withe the GP 500 Cagiva. (I deleted the file) because in the garage view you can only see the bike stand and the rider. when i hit go to track i got a core.exe
Maybe you know how to fix these problems.

The RCV and the RCV kit have seperate tyres (dont ask me why i dont know :P)

Download these tyre and put them in the tyre folder and you should be alright. :D
As for the Caviga it looks like the tyre file has completly the wrong name. You need these two files. Download and overwrite any that prompt you too.

Now its working fine. The KIT Version is great.
Now that i play the sim very intensivly - i would like to ride on cockpit view. Witch "tool" do i need to activate - the instruments on the bike ? I read something in the "how to GP Bikes" but i don´t really know how to do.

Put the files in the plugins folder and when your on track. Press CAPS locm to bring up the options.
