Title: Please respect online racing rules
Post by: KG_03 on March 25, 2018, 09:42:08 AM
I observe that recently many new players joined and the level of culture in online races dropped drastically. Colliding with other racers without a word of apology, going into track after crash without assuring that race line is clear or riding the opposite direction of the track starts to be a regular behaviour of some players.
I know its the game but unlike in Ride 2 or other racing games I really like the real life track riding rules so please don't destroy it.
Thanks.

+1 on that KG!  ;)

All server admins/event organisers should make sure they police this policy well to make sure we don't descend into a "we can do what we want" anything goes anarchist attitude.... Stamp on culprits hard and kick them from the servers as an example to those that come thinking they can do what they like by riding irresponsibly on track without thought for fellow riders..... Maybe some think this would be too draconian to kick riders who act like idiots on track,  but if your going to gain the respect needed for these idiots to conform to rules and etiquette you have to start how you mean to go on.... no chances given.... you mess about and break etiquette and your banned or kicked for 48 hours or more.... They'll soon learn. Lol!  ;D

Abuse through Chatting should also not be tolerated. Certain individuals ruin an otherwise fun experience through their immaturity and lack of decorum. I have black listed two such individuals and they will NEVER have access to my servers again.

have to say, i was guilty of that on victoria with first online session, just always went out of pits to the right. was only when on first online session that i realised i was going wrong way.
apologised in chat, but still felt like a dick.

Doing it unknowingly is not a bad thing :D everybody has got to learn it. Problem is that people do it intentionally and even sometimes don't care about other people on a good lap and they crash into them at the last corner...
