These were rendered at 3200x1800 and resized to 1080p. I tried 4K but the game crashes when I do, even though I can run more demanding games at 4k without crashes.

Guys, is it possible to upload smaller pics? Because I hate scrolling to see the whole picture :P When uploading your pictures you can choose to resize it. I use message board (640x480). But who am I to tell you what to do :P

To "resize" a pic in the forum, use this (change the 300 to what you like):

If you want the best, you can have a link to a bigger pic, like this (it's an img inside an url, same url for both, clicking on the pic will open a full size image):

+1, big images are annoying, no matter your resolution.
You can either post a smaller image with a link to the full size image (see how rc211v has done it above).
Or, if you're a real power-almighty-geek, you put a link (to the full size image) embedded in a reduced size image, FTW:

yeah you can see the texture "cut" but in the next version "unfortunately" tires textures will be slick and with blur texture (already they are slick for physical data) I love the maximum angle of leaning :P
Probably also the windshield need some fixes it is too little visible ;D
@Blacky. Great news on the tyres for the next update but I still cant figure what part of the tga file is for rim and spokes? Or are they not in the bike tga like others and you need a RIM tga?

livery.tga is just only the fairings and analogic stuff (u see other old textures, because im lazy to delete them). The wheel color
you can not change it at the time.
EDIT: Now I do a livery.tga more "light" to make skin more easily.

So far for a bike totally from scratch with no previous knowledge about 5 months working on it whenever i can. Very slow progress and about 50% complete :'( .
The more I look at that pic Blacky the more I like it. The design of the bike is based on the Japanese about a hunting animal just about to jump its pray, I cant think what it is now but the bike has that exact look, its about to kill something lol.

Not first time i have seen this online, also at mugello but for our Honda NSR500 race, you win pretty close to NOTHING by doing that. Waste of time really if you get grass or cold tyres doing it, the first corner might be ruined anyways, so why not just use that extra minute and go around track instead??
boggles my mind as well, the tyres are not instantly at optimal temperature anyway.

Roll on Netcode fixes and Dynamic track usage! Would of been a nice rubbered line there. I think you can only see your own black lines on NDS tracks.
I'd add roll on rear tyre proper size fix (and I think it's a problem of the modded bike, not GPB): it stinks high time to see the rear not touching the ground by 5cm.
BTW: I hate the 2d people on the stands. To me it's far worse than no people at all. Just look at 4th image above ... if this goes on Steam it becomes an instant meme :)

Are we saying that this is the same problem of the wheels/tyres lifting off the ground when the bike switches left to right and vice versa in replays? I'm sure this happens on the default GPB bikes too? Can anyone confirm?
I only ask because the only pics above I can see the rear tyres off the ground are shots were they are braking, yes?

Grooveski seems to be making a move on better trees in the Olivers Mt thread - i hope they work out
+1 on 2D people - Belong firmly in the past and hopefully the TTB engine will allow for the automated generation of varied crowds in 3D - maybe even a bit of animation please 8)
I am a bit suspicious the new ride height setting might be causing some tyre to road clearance issue as i observed it on my mod bike test when Grooveski slammed the suspension settings and his rear wheel hovered in game. I know the bike is OK r.e. tyre sizing thread saga ::) Need to investigate this though

Really enjoyed doing the 1997 Yellow/Purple/Black paint for the CBR900RR from Blacky. Used a tga I made from a DDS file that just turned up on my Hard drive ::) and it took me all day using the few pics I could find online of the original bike. Blacky's model is a 95 and the paint is for a 97 that is a lot different so is not perfect at some points but I made masks to make as much as close to real as possible.
The bike is a WIP by Blacky so UV and so has a ways to go and could not paint the wheels yellow :'(

Its not really in-game quality. It is a high res screenshot as explained in the installation read-me (an F key i forget which one just now (F10?)).
Odd that your AA is not working though. Have a look in the documentation part of the forum too where you can find manual 'ini' graphical tweaks.

I beleave this was when riders(particularly Garry Mccoy) discovered what they could do with the new tyres that where introduced at that time.... Previously if riders had done that they would've shredded their rears. Lol!
But maybe now you realise why we oldies wish motoGP would go back to no electronics.... Not all riders have the throttle and weight shift skills to be able to control those kind of slides without electronics, and that's what made the difference between the top riders back in those days... Riders with real excellent rider skills and and those who where just normal good riders, unlike today where cause of the electronics
most riders could be up with the front guys if they had the power to stay there; they might as well be on a scalextric track, hence we mostly see them bunched up together...
The differences in rider skills sets have been mostly leveled-out cause of the electronic aids they have these days.... No one particularly special, and if you think a guy like marquez is special then that might just make you realise how special people like Sheene, Roberts, Spencer, Lawson, Shwantz, Rainey, Gardner, ect, etc must have been back in the day when riders where real riders using their raw skills to control their bikes. :P
Back in the old days it was just magical to see each individuals rider skills and riding styles on display... Today they all seem same, same..... Just a sign of the times and degeneration of the sport these days I guess - (sigh). ;) :P ;D
Up the revolution.... Bring back the 2T GP500 Category!! ;D ;D ;)

Reccomend you watch the GP Legends Races, or as you're UK Based if I'm not mistaken, the 'Classic Motorcycle Racing Club' have a classic 500gp class I believe. Granted I think its more Nortons than 2 Stokes but to me those are even better.
On another note I believe the data that was gotten from Good ol Gazza helped tyre development go where it is today, and while I appreciate the talent to do this, as a spectator, its much better to watch a bunched up even race, as anyone could win.
As for no one special, I'd have have said there have been a few that do stand out, but today they have to have electronics knowledge as well as good racing talent.
Marquez, obviously, as he has huge talent, and seems to be able to get that bike to do what he wants, even more than any other honda,
Another one For me is, as wooden as his personality was, is Stoner. He was just something else, and I think we were Robbed not seeing him and Marquez go at it.

The maniac At Motegi: Aprilia is a beast, managed 47's and high 46's consistently, with the ideal lap time (Best sector times added) being around a mid 45. Fastest I've ever gone around there :)

Personally I think all the 500CC bikes from the mid 70's right up to the end of the 2 stroke era looked great compared to todays MotoGP 4 stroke monstrosities! Hehe! :P ;D ;D

I'm well mate thanks for asking. Just a bit peeved that I spent all this money trying to get racing in reality and the season is pretty much canned...
Such is the way of things.
But, there are more important things going on now. Staying as isolated as possible and stuff.

I did get the pm, and that is a hard livery.
I would really struggle with that and the likelihood is I'd ruin it, and I'm struggling to find the time for it. (Still at work etc)
So I'm gonna have to have a quick pass on painting that DD, sorry for that, but templates and example paints are included

Thats how they wanted it. Thes lower section removes to fit DOF Reality motion platform for full motion with traction loss.
They also fucked the steering on the first day by trying to lift the whole system off a truck by the handlebars on one side. They ruined my reputation and are trying to claim the developed it.
It feels natural when using it IF it is setup right!!!
If you can make a better working system would be cool to see.
