I think the M1 and RCV213 are brilliant bikes and were made before we had the Geom, and other tweeks, I also think
both of the Bikes have the best sounds of any bike mod made to date (Thanks to Buggie) so I give a lot of credit to Odilio, Ring
and the rest of the guys over at GP Bikes Italia for what they were able to create with what they had to work with. ;)

Rcv is only a conversion (with some improvements)... I have no problem if Juju make own version. While Ringhino made M1 from scratch ... then, in this case, I agree with Juju and Docfumi. :)

first off, I didn't mean to be disrespectful to anyone. I wasn't aware of the specific circumstances under which each specific bike was created... secondly, imho we shouldn't settle for anything but greatness... if we do, then we will get people complaining about the sub-par visuals of GPB - and the recent work from Juju, noss and many others have shown that with dedication you can pull off very good looking stuff.
I really appreciate what the creators of the M1 and the RC213v have done! I know how much effort and hours you guys spent to get them done - I do some little modding myself - though it is "only" sound modding, it also requires many hours of dedication and I might find work that I do being neglected or improved by someone else doing a sound most people prefer - my work then is just for nothing - I do not find that disrespectful, it is an evolutionary process and people seek the best - no problem with that...
To circumvent any problems - maybe Juju and the original authors would agree to work together to improve the bikes? Or like Odi already indicated would "authotize" Juju to make a new version?

Correct, that`s a Jurgen vd Goorbergh paint. Very underrated rider imo, was always pretty quick but never had the money or material to compete with the front guys. When he finally made the switch from a V twin NSR 500 to a 4 Cilinder NSR, the rest of the field upgraded to the four strokes...

I'm doing the Yamaha 1982 YZR 500cc OW60/61 bikes, but they will be scratch built
not conversions With the little time I have available, I've got as far as having modelled the wheels/Brakes/tyres and suspension assemblies(Rear suspension still to finish), the frame is part done, but struggling with getting the correct shape and dimensions for accuracy(Looks great from the side, but I have no top down reference images to work from to obtain the correct width/shape.). Once the model is completed and UV mapped correctly I will release it. I was hoping to get genuine physics data(or at the very least a dyno chart for the engine physics) to really make it special, but I think it will probably have to be released like the NSR 500 with the Cagiva physics file until such time we can acquire the required physics data for the 1982 Yamaha YZR 500

OW70 was about 120hp, the OW60/61 a bit less....maybe 110hp.
Which one are you building? OW60 or 61? They differ in the rear suspension, swingarm and frame...so you can only do one of it ;-)

I'm currently building the 1982 YZR OW60 square four engine bike(as described in my post above), the one Barry Sheene(Great guy!) was riding in 1982, the year of his big Silverstone accident(Although I know he was riding his newly acquired OW61 V4 at the actual time of his accident). :)
Are you thinking of building the 1982 Yamaha YZR V4/OW61? That would be great! Especially if you did a Kenny Roberts skin as the default paint for it too.... If not, this was the bike I was going to build for my next project.
Would also like to build the Suzuki RG500 and the Kawasaki GP bikes of that era too(Juju is currently building the Honda NS500 of the era). It would be possible then to have a good 500cc GP Champs, especially if we can give each bike, ideally accurate physics, but at the very least unique physics for each bike. ;D

I know but I don't have the metal template. I don't think you can color it on the BIKE template. I colored the SHOWA logo in black but it's still red... :P

Can I add this to the Next MOD Update?
Guess that is no problem for Juju since half of the Mod package already consists of his work ;D. But asking permission is the right thing to do in any case.

Problem is I tend not to have a preference in terms of directions in which I fuck, so the chances I'll do it in a direction suitable for you are small (assuming uniform random distribution, they depend on the angular resolution you're happy with, so if 1 deg is OK to you, chances are 1 in 360).

Make backups of all .edf files for any bike
Open the all the bike .edf files in text editor and delete all the text inside it and save
Select that bike in game.
