Oh Hey. Well I refuse to use the cockpit even though it is more fun. if there's a tactical advantage in a game I take it. I have a tactical piece of electrical tape marking the crosshair on my monitor for ark  ;D

I do ride and race always in cockpit view, even if others use 3rd. You can be as competitive as anyone in 3rdP if you know well the track.  ;)

Sad to say however that I can't use the cockpit view; I tried a server that required it and was impossible for me.

Then , more practice is needed  :)

It has to be at least one server for those who want to.
No matter if its practicing, you know others in the server are in the same conditions as you (1P). And i can tell you when there are few of them its good fun.  ;)

There are so many things that can be fixed in this game that should be a priority. Actually the graphics aren't bad at all if you take a close look. I would much rather PiBoSo spends the time on fixing all the little frustrating issues and keeps building on the physics model. Take a more polished track like Nurburgring, run a few clean laps, replay and see how beautiful this game looks. How the bike interacts with the rider and environment is mesmerizing. This game is really about the physics.

I'm with Hawk, fix the issues that will attract more users and modders. Take away the frustrations of just picking this game up and making it work. Only like that will we see this community flourish. The people that actually stay in this game are because they are amazingly passionate about bikes, racing and track riding, and PATIENT as fuck (pardon my French).

I'm going to stop talking cause I get pissed every time I think about what GPB can be and what it is not.

Totally agree.

Dont think about it, just brake. You will find yourself braking almost to the apex when fighting with someone else and trying to brake later and later not to allow him to get some gap. This doesnt mean you can brake too late. Too late is...too late , lol.  ;D

I use to brake earlier than others , but smoothly and simultaneously use engine brake , so the bike doesnt get upset due weight transfer, and hold it almost to the apex. Then release, and smoothly on the throttle for the apex and exit.

Yes, i always hold the front brakes and use engine brake while turning, and smoothly release and apply throttle before the apex. I think is something natural, dont even have to think about it.
