I'd also love to have supermoto in GPBikes and not just MXBikes

Hay Mystic .Did you get around fixing this? I am trying to host dedicated server now, and server keeps crashing when I join.

Bikes / Supermoto?

Are there any supermoto bikes for GPBikes now? I see MXBikes has SM in as a standard bike.

Would love to have supermoto in GPBikes too.

Virtual Reality / Re: Oculus Rift Setup

Thanks Mystic. Appreciate the info.

Will give it a go again. So when you say you control the leaning with how much you lean on with your headset, does that mean you don't lean at all anymore with joystick on controller? If so, does it feel somewhat natural?

Virtual Reality / Oculus Rift Setup

Hi guys

Haven't been active on the forum in a while, also haven't played the game in a while but played it again this weekend, and oh boy... how I am having fun again.

I do however want to try VR again. I tried it a while back and while it was cool, it wasn't functional at all for me. I couldn't lean with my headset and have that translate into my rider ingame which made the sensations very weird.

Anybody thats using VR, can you please give me a rundown of the best settings/setup to achieve the most natural best feeling VR experience.

Hi guys

I have been away from this game and forum for quite some time, coming around every now and then to see if there is a worthwhile update. I am however looking at jumping back in and riding together with people from South Africa if possible. Would like to get a little local community going.

PM me :D

Is there a max ping limit on the servers? I play from SA and saw that one server had max ping limit and I got banned from server? :/

Hi guys. I have been absent from GP-Bikes for quite some time.

I am looking at getting back into it - Is the championship still open for new entries?

Custom hardware / Re: New pc ideas
November 22, 2016, 10:08:10 AM
In SOME games only though. Very little games are starting to benefit from 16Gb Ram. But 8GB RAM at first, and later another 8GB is very viable.

But yea, start with a good base. I always believe in getting good motherboard/cpu and ram because if you get good stuff, it will outlast the other components by far.

I recently upgraded my pc, and my previous PC went through about 3 High End GPU's with the same CPU/Mobo/Ram. I gave my old pc to the GF and is still running strong.

Was just a little troll DD :). He could easily get away with 8Gb yea. 8GB RAM will DEF not be bottlenecking anything. Thats for sure. I agree on warranties on electronics, as I also really prefer to have it, but electronics can last for a very long time with no issues what so ever. If I had a budget, and needed to choose between a GTX 970 and GTX 1050/ti, I would most certainly try get a GTX 970. The 450w power supply you listed will also be more than enough.

On the other side, if he is just going to be playing mostly GPBikes/rFactor then I would go for the newer GTX 1050. But for me, who plays everything, I would go for a beefier "older" card.

Why buy an old one when the 1050 is cheap enough and give you the latest chipset and is guaranteed.
Because a 970 will give you much better performance than a 1050ti.

So if you're on a budget and are OK to buy a second hand one, it's an excellent deal.
All the chaps that have bought the new 1060/1070 cards are selling the 970 for pocket money.

I agree Hornet. If you don't mind buying a 2nd hand card, then a 970 or even a 980 if you have extra cash is a better buy than a 1050/ti.

ORRR....

GET A GTX1080 and be happy forever :D.

Bug Reports / Re: Constant Core.exe

Oh and DD, could you copy and paste your entries you have in gpbikes.ini please? I also just changed textures and shadows and replay buffer AFTER you guys suggested it with no success.

MXBikes works for hours on end with no core.exe's.

I tried everything DD. That is the thing. I am using Stock Bikes with Stock Track. And I still get core.exe. I must admit when using Mod Tracks the cores occur way more just when crashing and touching the line between grass and track.

I re-installed and over-installed and removed Mods and added mods. Nothing seems to work. :/.
