Hey DD, long time!

A question: do you think I'd be able to play Driveclub Bikes on PS4 with this: http://www.gamesradar.com/how-use-xbox-one-controller-ps4/?

Gives the HS2 quick access to crazy graphics with DC Bikes and to Milestone stuffs even without a PC (PS4, XB1, XB360) :)

Although it would probably need some help/tweaks from the Cronusmax makers to adjust the steering input curve and deadzone to replace the x360ce functionality. Or get support from Milestone to be able to adjust these in-game... haha.

Hi all, DD asked me to post that the server is down because his electricity is out. I think it's the whole block there.

Hope it gets sorted soon, DD!

Bikes / Re: Need people for a new bikes set

Just wanted to say that any modder's work is very much appreciated. I'm having a lot of fun playing the NR750, thanks for that!

I hope the CBR900RR gets finished, would be fun to ride it around.

As for arguments, it's a bit sad seeing people misunderstand each other's comments and escalating arguments for no other reason. Comment seen as an insult, answered by a comment seen as an insult, answered by an insult, getting a bigger insult in return... and then everyone lashing back just defending themselves. Face to face: comment gets followed by "well yeah, anyway, so and so..."; online: comment gets followed by *BOOM*.

So, yeah, thumbs up to everyone who puts effort into GPB in any way or form :)

Ok, thanks! :)

Hi everyone, I'd like to join if it's not too late.

Never raced online before, I'm sorry if I'm going things wrong, I'll try to not get in the way too much. Is #81 ok?

That's the only one I've used, and only a few times but it seems good.

I'm looking forward to TT2, too :)

I don't expect it to have physics as good as GPBikes but it should look and play tons better than anything Milestone.

Same as Nick, this can make me get a PS4 but needs to be at least as fun as TT1. Wouldn't go pre-ordering.

As for Kazunori's quiote, it doesn't say much. I hope they make it though, and before MotoGP20.

DD, I can see, dear sir, that you are in need of a cameraman. Despair not, for I shall offer my humble services!
:)
Seriously, I could help out for a video sometime. Could bring the DSLR and take some fancy photos, too

DD, I had great fun with the controller on GPBikes, can't wait to have one of these at home to actually get some good riding done :)
Can't be bothered anymore with DST on a gamepad. The increased amount of input/interaction/feedback with DST is fun and great for simulating using a gamepad to ride a bike but the SPSS controller actually simulates riding a bike :) And once the foot shifter is in, it will be the real thing!
So psyched for this and beta 7, I feel like jumping on my bike and... trying to not get hit in London. Excitement down. Anyway...
DD, when are we going to see a video? :) And no, not the one where I'm riding. The evil combination of my appearance and my riding would bury the controller's future worse than a core crash on a first demo start :)

From what he said in response, as per google translate, he asked the same question I think we all keep asking ourselves with your relentless marketing of a product that doesn't seem to exist, where are the people using your product? When will it be available? How much will it cost? How many developers are using it as well?

Not to be a dick about it, but you have said time and time again that things are taking off and you are bringing a simulator controller to the people.... so, when? Where is the timeline of development to distribution? Where is the customer base? I've had people see that I built one out of lack of a market and asked me if I would build more of them so they too can have one since there is nobody marketing them at this time.

I think his genuine curiosity is a common thing among the GP Bikes community, we've all been waiting YEARS for this famed "perfect simulator controller" you speak so highly of yet there isn't even so much as a basic unit to ship, let alone the 3D printed and highly developed controller we've been hearing about since last year when you got back to England and started making big connections.

Hi there,

I'm having a system built by DD. No hurry from my side, from what I've seen over at DD's place I know it's coming along and it shouldn't take much longer.

I'm actually quite happy that the Malaysian thing happened before my system was done. A lot of design work went into it, having to change things to stick everything on their full motion rig. Some of it improves the core design so in effect I got a free upgrade :)

DD, now that the 3d printer is spitting out MTUs I look forward to getting back in UK and having a run at your Victoria lap times with the new controller :)

Hi DD,

No much point manually making a screensaver as we'd need to make an individual screensaver for each nice bike :)

The best motorcycle "screensaver" I've found, at least to my taste, is the bike selection screen in Tourist Trophy on the PS2. Well, not a screensaver but something nice to look at when glancing at a screen. Have some classic bike spinning for a while, get a bit bored of it, select a scooter... it's a gallery of about 130 bikes, not counting the different paint layouts. Well it's nothing special really but I like it quite a lot. GP Bikes in HD with 16x AA could look way better, it just needs a little spin and replacing the black void with a room of some kind.

General Discussion / Re: Bikes mod 2.5
February 04, 2015, 04:19:18 PM
Hi Obelix,

Another vote for getting the licence from a relatively new player. I've purchased very few games but getting the licence for GP Bikes is something I'm very happy with.

To use the mods you need the licence but you can use plugins even without it. I'd recommend MaxHUD - I find it very useful for learning the tracks (the map) and the visual representation of the inputs.

General Discussion / Re: OldSchool is too Old

I've tried K and I. The rider walked the bike a quarter circle turning left, I'd release the button and he would keep walking another quarter circle without any input from me. So I'd still end up in the wrong direction. I guess I needed to tap "I" instead of keeping it pressed, I must have done it wrong since nobody else has complained. Also, getting the hang of starting with a turn is frustrating but fun :)

It wasn't me in the Moto 3 since I haven't taken part. Somebody else having fun with DST.

And back to the thread's topic... if beta 6 has something that bugs you, maybe learning to use DST might be a fun distraction until beta 7? :) It certainly gives a whole different feel to riding.

I just saw this a bit earlier (first post): http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=5141.0

Not news but it was news to me :)

Congratulations! Wish you a long and fruitful partnership with Lotus Carts :)

Looking forward to a similar announcement for GP Bikes, too :P
