Hi Piboso,

I have a problem with live timing server (not only on beta6).
There is a moment when the live timing service don't sends all informations. There isn't lap time informations.
An exemple this night :

It happens when there are a lot of players on a server i think.

Hi,

Just to report a new problem with dedicated servers.
For me it's appeared with mx-bikes project (beta1) and gp-bikes beta6. The chat' on dedicated server doesn't works properly after some hours. All players can't talk.

I know this problem was present sometimes, but now i have to restart all servers every day to be sure.

Don't know if the big numbers of people since the last beta is a relation with this problem ? Maybe a buffer or an history too small ?

Could you have a look on this side ?

Hello all,

A lot of people have problems to maintain the bikes folder up to date.
So i have decided to open a ftp server to Klax, in the aim to push updates on.

With this method, Bike mod would be updated most frequently i think (If Klax is ok).

OPERATION:
SyncBack connects to the ftp server every hour when your computer is strated.
It checks the files on the server and compare with those in your bikes folder.
If it detects missing files or too much, then it adds or deletes these files (or folders).

INSTALLATION:

1: Download SyncBack free: http://www.2brightsparks.com/assets/software/SyncBack_Setup.exe
2: Install the software
3: Download two configurations files for SyncBack: http://www.motonline-france.com/public/Downloads/GP_Bikes/Motos/mod_bike_ftp.sps

4: In SyncBack, go to the "Profiles" menu in the upper left, then click "Import profile".
5: To create the scheduled task, SyncBack asks for your password session, do so and enter.

Note: Depending on the configuration of Windows and security policy chosen, SyncBack can not write to the directory Gp Bikes/Bikes. We must therefore allow the user "Everyone" to have full rights to this directory (for simplicity) (right click/ Properties / Security).
Note 2: Be careful if you have bikes not included in the bikemod, then they will be deleted. You can disable the scheduled task if it is the case.
Note3: You must have the default configuration at the location of the game folder Else, you need to edit the conf SyncBack profile accordingly to the destination...


Currently, the full bike mod 2.0 with all skins are on the ftp server.

Hi everybody

I'm pleasure to inform you i'm working on a best-laps service project.

The goal is to give to the community a stats page with all bikes, tracks and weathers and in the future to replace Hot Lap events from Dibu (a very good thing but without source code...). There are stability problems on the hot lap event software and without source code we aren't able to fix it.

This service is totaly free, and when it will be finished it will be publish as an open source code (for logger).

This project is in beta. So, if you encounter bugs or you have suggestions, please report all here.

If you are interesting to add your servers on this page, you just have to configure live_timing options on your dedicated server and send me all informations (IP, port, pass). May be gp-bikes Italia servers could be added ?

Early this morning i encountered a problem with the game.
Piboso.com was in timeout and the game was very slow to start.

When i've try to launch a testing session on Victoria it was impossible with this message :


Just for Victoria, i've successfuly launch a session on others tracks.

Something is special with Victoria ?

Just a little tribute to the community.
I've recorded sounds of my bike to put them on GP-Bikes.

It's a V1 recorded with my phone (...).
If weather is better in few days or weeks, i could try to record a new onboard sound with a better material.

Problems :
Sound chain in game is too important.
Saturation on several engine speed.
