DD
When you say you can't get online what exactly do you mean? When I run GPBikes (nonsteam) the server list wont even generate. Is that what is happening to you as well? Or do you see the server list and when you join it crashes you back to desktop?

C'mon DD, its all good I'm just having a friendly go.

Lower case does work as that is how I did mine. Just be certain your doing everything perfect to rule out something simple you may be over looking, happen to me just yesterday concerning mods and wheelie help which VSMaster pointed out to me.

Message PiBoSo and have him send you your code if all else fails. Good Luck mate!

VSMaster, you are an Angel my friend! I tested it and you are 100% correct. Not sure why I even had wheelie help on, just an oversight. Merry Christmas!

I do get back to desktop crashes when trying to run MGP21 bike mods.

I am having a throttle issue concerning bike mods. Some mods are fine such as SBK legends but others such as MotoGP historical are a problem.

When applying throttle the rpms only go a small amount not even close to full rev. You can see the riders hand twisting the throttle rapidly but remain going at a snail pace. If you fiddle with the lean stick (left toggle) its like you are pulling in a clutch and the revs will scream to the top.

Also notice some gauges are off screen to the right a bit

Its a bit frustrating as it limits the ability to use certain mods.

This happens on both B20 and Steam version.

Hmmm, just to be redundant. When you enter your product key are you using dashes? for instance,

2h3t4-ggg5t-33333-

cause if you don't it wont work. Just looking for a solution. Or maybe your email you used when you bought your product key is different?

PS- for a guy who builds simulation controller systems not sure how this simple task eludes you? :) lol

Go here-  https://stats.gp-bikes.com/steam.php

Put in your original key and email and it will generate a new key which you will in turn use at Steam by using Steams "activate product" see? https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/2A12-9D79-C3D7-F870

Or if your that pressed for time just buy it at Steam, I'm sure it would help PiBoSo out.

If using Steam version- in Steam right click GPBike, properties, local files, browse, now you will be in the directory where your common files are such as bike/track/tires etc. If they are zipped unzip to access. Place mods in bike folder but make certain to add any thing the mod came with to it proper directory such as tires, stands, gauges etc or the bikes will not show up in the menu. 100% works!

If you are just adding the bike mod without the tires or gauges etc you are fecked!

If you need further direction DD just give me a shout.

After further testing I have found that some bike mods do not work properly, for instance concerning the MotoGP historical mod the throttle does not work. This is the case with a lot of the mod bikes. Just something to take notice of if anyone cares? Maybe its on my end?

PS- Thanks PiBoSo for finally getting this on Steam, great job!

No better or worse, just different.

Personally dirt bikes should all be 2 strokes. I can see the benefit of 4 strokes in track/tarmac due to engine breaking and smooth response of transitioning.

2 strokes can be silly on tar and spit you off without a care. The whole point of MotoGP is grip, 2 strokes spin and slide where as 4 strokes grip, or have roll on power. On dirt being able to snap the throttle at the lip of a jump is much more satisfying oppose to rolling over the jump hence 2 strokes fare better for dirt IMO.

With higher revs and gearing a 4 stroke can feel exciting they just lack that out of nowhere powerband that rips your arms off, hold on! But then again a 4 stroke pulls your arms off from the get go.

Take your pick and enjoy either or!

Nothing smells quite like Cam2:)

its almost like valve amps vs solid state, lol it just never ends.

I had a 500cc 2 stroke and I have owned many Marshall tube amps, now I have a custom built 4stroke mini bike and a couple hybrid 12ax7 preamp with a 420watt solid state amps. I also had a Polaris xcr600 triple 2stroke snowmobile that would just about rip your arms off. But I have never rode a modern MotoGP bike :)

You guys can go round robin about this stuff forever, the bottom line is-

Everyone has their go around and will always remember how great their moment was regardless.

I have been also, since alpha using wine.

Steam/Proton gives another option for those who are terminal ignorant. With Mesa-Vulkan drivers it has come along way.

General Discussion / Kart Racing Pro Steam/Proton

Reporting-

Kart Racing Pro in Steam using Proton is working. Not a huge fan of Windows but love Linux and I'm extremely happy that KRP is working!

Any question feel free to ask.
