Custom hardware / Re: Hs3 Hydraulic Brakes and Clutch

The levers have 6 adjustments for distance to bar grip but it really seems fine with the 500psi, not broken in the last 2 hours lol

In reality I and many riders always cover the brake lever with 2 fingers and mainly use just those until I need to brake bloody hard lol. 2 fingers also allows throttle control while baking too.

I have to test thoughrally before making it a standard part so could end up swimming in 2.1 brake fluid lol. I think the brand I use is going to be fine but rather know for sure than be worrying lol.

I was using all the pressure I have in my right hand. I have to test to make sure this kind of thing WONT happen lol. I really was giving it beans but I am not the strongest person so I have to think of someone with the mind of a Neanderthal lol. Gonna use 1000psi for rear brakes I think. Will test when one gets here.

Hi guys, so....................

300psi Transducer test left me with this........

BUGGER IT!!! Blew the fooker in half lol, not sure if it was a defective one and got another to test but just went striaght to a 500psi for Front brake and works a charm.

Resting it in GPB it felt so good to have a brake working on pressure and not movement alone. Bodnar board allows direct connection and this brand of transducer although not expensive they do not fluctuate like many I have tested.

Custom hardware / Real Dashboard with GPB
« on: December 14, 2017, 05:44:32 PM »
Hi guys, so just got my Dashboard in and starting to figure how to make it all fit and work on the Hs3.

Heres a few pics with it just sitting on TheFREAKS Hs3 to see what it will look like. (Being reassembled this weekend then of to Portugal)

Gonna make it so it just slips on from the top of the main plate for older systems to use it as an option as well.

It was missing the instructions but found some I think will help online for wiring it to a Sym-Projects controller which I need to still get and find how to make it all fit and look pretty lol

Thank you to Piboso for making GPB work with such hardware, gonna be fun if I actually get it workin lol

When using painted.exe there is a box where you must enter the name to show in GPBikes, sometimes if you do not do it all in the right sequence it will delete what is in the box and you must have not seen it happen.

Will explain when we chat later

Great to have you with us Freak. Welcome to the world of GPBikes at long last.

It is good you pointed out the license thing as I have not had that asked before but good to know I should make it clear for others in the future.

Due to registration rules for GPB, if I gave a licence to everyone they would all be under my email address I registered with, which was in fact is an ex girlfriends as I had no paypal account when I got a licence back in 2010 lol.

This is my first day out of bed since last Friday so a bit behind on your Hs3 but will get it finished asap so you can get into GPB.

At least you have time to install all the mods as there are LOTS lol

See you on the track soon

hi, need some help plz. Im trying to install the mods on gpb12 but...... when i make the changes to the core.ini file it does not allow me to save the changes.
says im not the owner of this file, what do i do?

You have to right click on the GPB install folder select properties/Security/ user account then click edit, select user account again and check the ALLOW boxes the apply it

Hi speedfr

I am the wrong person to ask about FFB in GPB as not used it yet. I am concetrating on the input first and then I will get into FFB.

I must say I have a lot of respect for your attempt at this system. You are fortunate to have the means to do so and I wish you the best of luck and a good future in this project.

I do have to say one thing though and sorry but it is factual

You state you are the ONLY and FIRST home simulator?

Please ask all my customers from around the world about that. I state it purely to let you know that your system is not the first and that I would hate that you get coments about it. This is a very new and hard thing to get into and you have a great protential, but, you should always consider the statements you make, you need to ensure they are 100% true. I dont build a motion system yet but that is not the point. I think you should simply add it is the first MOTION home system in future.

I wish you the best of luck in this and will myself contribute to your kickstarter when you start it. I do this for the passion of riding and all and any person that attempts to create a true system should get a bit of help and morale support.

I take my hat off to you sir.
