I worry for old versions. How much of the community or indeed the future target audience remember them or even care for them?

It's like the bikes, only 'bikers' who appreciate all motorcycles old and new are interested in the classic stuff.

My feeling is most people are the modern motogp audience not really bikers tbh.

At least your track setup allows alternate versions so why not broaden the audience interest in making all the versions as alternate options. More work of course but a much wider audience and definitely more gain than pain?

Some are pretty much unrecognisabl now of course

SPA, the greatest/historical/exciting original track before the advent of the blandosphere tracks.

Old bus stop or new chicane?

Both options of course  ;)

Personally the bus stop keeps a flow going but I wouldn't want to alienate the youngsters and to be honest I like them both equally as far as racing opportunities go.

HOVIS! , as they say, - Best of Both.    (English advert)

PS: "Uphill downhill sooner or later". Now there's a glimmer of hope. I hope you don't have your tongue in the cheek.

Quality content would always be good.  :)

But to invest more there has to be some indication of a plan to finish the game for me to be honest.

Could it be part of a bigger campaign for contents for the "final" version of GP Bikes?

Yes sure, all great content will enhance the product no end  :), but I am just worried it is another distraction / more stress / that will push V1s 'finality' over the distant horizon. And I cant see that current horizon as it is!  :(

I'm not sure how many would be that interested based on the fact its a bit niche and I think a greater audience could be found for a bike road race circuit, but this survey might prove otherwise for reasons similar to mine:
I would probably back it in the eternal hope it drives sales and development of course. Which would need to happen in conjunction because the bikes cant really be ridden properly at Nords with its nasty banking, bumps and inclines, currently.

ok, if u want a real kerbs no problem, i make a version with Real kerbs....

I think we want real physics more.

Why not leave it as it is Jav until the physics improves and make the track more real then? As long as we remember its not a problem and who knows how long before the physics is sorted.

But my point was that the track is not wrong as implied just not suitable for current day physics.

Love a compromise, me.  :)

My opinion on this because its a forum and we are allowed to:

If the kerbs are modelled correctly then its the bike physics that is wrong. Making a track that fits the current physics is all well and good for now but is masking the real problem.
The question then is ultimately - do we want a simulator that runs on simulated tracks? Or badly simulated physics and non-simulated tracks that 'feels' right?.

Going onto reserve fuel is the definition of a bike. You can only get more 'bike' if you fit a kick-start too. Does the lean indicator have a synchro feed to level the Pimms dispenser and cigar lighter?

I think your mind is made up, Tuono-boy.  ;) I guess there's still time to find your biker when you retire.

Enjoy!

Act your age Max.

An old Triumph, BSA, Matchless, or similar classic era bike you can show to youngsters and their Tourno twist-and-goes and remind them that these bikes had to be ridden back in the day. Cant believe you want a fuel gauge lol. I mean whats the point of having a 200 mph rocket that you will never use and even if you do reach that speed it will be like sitting on a marshmallow sipping Earl Grey tea. At the very least go for the one that burns a hole in your leg like a proper motorbike used to. If you can get it to piss crank oil on yer goggles and rear tyre too its worth getting in my opinion.  Something that makes you feel like a biker not one of them London 90s yuppies.   Jeez.  Luvvies everywhere.

I did well not to mention 2 strokes. I know you would appreciate another view -cover all the angles and all that.

Edit: The Thruxton R is a no brainer. Bikers will still speak to you. (If you want their greasy words of course).
