Bug Reports / Re: Can't Installation MOD bikes
January 26, 2018, 08:18:41 PM
Thank you, Matty,

now it works. I have added the misc folder too (for whatever it is).
It's not easy for a non perfect english speaker with all the folders and subfolders.

Now
Unfortunately I can't choice any helmet/helmet paints. I have created under ...gpbikes/rider a folder helmets with the helmets fils like AGV Pista GP in it. In every subfolder are a paints subfolder with some files in it. But I can choice only the standard helm and helm paint?

Bug Reports / Can't Installation MOD bikes
January 26, 2018, 05:21:10 PM
Hello,

since yesterday I'm a member of a GP bikes license.
Now the three other bikes tah the 125ccm DEMO bike works.
I've tested GP500ccm. It was horrible! I needed more than 30 laps for my first lap without a crash. But that wasn't the issue of the bike, that was my impatient driving style.

Now my problem: I want install the MOTO2 MOD linked in racing/MOTO2 champiochip thread.
I have created the five Moto2_2017_... folders, and put them under GP Bikes/gpbikes/bikes (the last folder I have created before). If I start GP Bikes, choice one of the moded bikes and click at Testing, core.exe crashes.

After the next start core.exe crashes immediately. If I rename bikes folder to bikes_ it seems to work again with the piboso bikes.

Must I put the  folders or filess from the folders misc and tires (that I found in the unzipped folder) or riders, skins/temlates at any place?

I have no idea.

QuoteI like that more races are driven again.
but what I like less is the selection of the race tracks.
I miss the classic tracks that you know, that they work online.

for example brno, assen, misano, monza, mugello, silverstone, spa, just to name a few.
I do not want to criticize now, that's just my opinion.

greeting fin

Support / Can't Shifting when Braking (Rear)
January 23, 2018, 05:27:56 PM
Hello,

I have this issue: I use a paddle for Rear brake and a button for Shift (Down) at my MOMO racing wheel.
Unfortunately I can't Shift Down when I'm using the rear brake at the same moment. So I'm confused because I don't know in which gear I've been.  :o

Have anyone the same problem or and idea?

Support / Server replays in DEMO?
May 05, 2017, 04:31:09 PM
Hello,

maybe I will buy the complete Version of GPB, because I see at the moment there are some races.
But I'm not 100% resolved.
I would like to have a look at a server replay of some SBK2005 races from the last weeks to see how realistic works GPB in case of collisions.

So I have three questions:
Is it possible to see server replays with the DEMO? Can I use replays from other tracks than Victoria? And: Do I need obligatory the newest Version for that? My last install is Version 10.

Thanks you
Olaf

General Discussion / Re: GP Bikes beta7b

I think it's not acceptable:
If I lean a bike in a 100 km/h corner lean too much in reality is crazy, because there is force centrifuge (maybe it could be in a 20 km/h corner, but not in a faster corner). If I throtteling or braking in the corner OK, but without that I think it's not only enervant, it's very unrealistic. Under this circumstances I no interest to buy the complete version.

Hello,

my wishes are...

1. I think in same situations should be much more feedback, especially  force feedback. In case of braking GP Bikes gives very good feedback I think. But in some corners in case of normally driving or under acceleration the bike reacts very suddenly, without any alert signal - no chance to reasting. It's very frustrating.
I don't know...maybe it's in real driving so, but real drivers feel much more feedback, that simulation drivers can't feel because they aren't sitting on the bike in reality.

2. How I wrote here: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2168.0
"Big crash" Procedere like in SBK2001, but the Driver is running beside the roadway to the bike, not on the roadway.

Best Regards and thanks for the good work.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Timed bike reset

QuoteRunning like a bat out of hell to get to the bike, pick it up, dust it down, bend the brake levers back up and set off again like SBK2001 gets my vote.

I like SBK2001 very much and one thing I like especially is this "big crash". But in SBK2001 the rider runs in a direct line to his bike. So he runs sometimes of the roadway. A better solution would be if he runs beside the roadway.
