1_Clutch fixes are in the next updates changelog thread (not one read this?)  :P
Yes, I saw this, but it's part of my "review". I felt it so I write it.

2_What is the problem with the idle? Its from a real Panigale ???
It has been recorded with a nokia 3310 at 100 meters ?? Maybe the sound is real but it is waaaaaaay to low compared to the engine noise when in march. I think the idle sound is from a stock pani and has been recorded in poor conditions.

3_ I dont see this  ???
You must be stopped or walk slowly with the bike, stick full right.

As Sir PiBoSo is working on cameras, I think we should just wait for the result and let this thread in stand-by. Also, I didn't found how to contact MagicFR :/

Can you give any clues on the scope of improvements to the 1P views?

Nothing of that.

The plan is to:
1) keep the pitch level with the ground, rather than the bike
2) keep the view pointed to the direction of motion, rather than where the bike is pointing
Preliminary results are interesting, but the old views will probably be kept as default, and the new ones as option.

If I knew where you live, I would come to hug you, send you pizzas, take a selfie with you, cook you a cappuccino with cream, clean your car, wash your dishes, hug you again...

Hey guys, just tested this bike and here are my feelings / reports

Not enough lean angle and not fast enough...

I understand now. It's just the default setting that makes that bike understeer a lot. I set the rear suspension one click stiffer and one click higher in bump. Now it feels like any other bike +/- and it is enjoyable. Also, now I can up the front wheel what was unpossible with the default settings

The brakes may be a little too weak. I'm used to always put the longest lever in front because I like to have a long course a better feeling. With the 20mm lever I can squizz the brake from 0 to 100 and the rear wheel doesn't take off at all. Maybe default brake settings are not strong enough, or is it a new feature that requires brakes to heat before they are optimum ?? (JK)

edit :
When reving the enging, there like a two step sound when going down to idle. The sound drops and make something like a step or a jump up, and then redrop to idle. strange...

Also, the backfire sound is AWE...SOME !

Apart from that, that's a nice bike !

With completly different feelings, I have quite the same times with the ducati, the MV the KTM and the yamaha. All my tests are made in misano, 1p.

Hey, I just had a really good moment with that beast ! C'mon guys, tell the truth, you've made a cheated bike  ;D ;D
I'm struggling with every bike and with this one I am powerslinding every corner exits, I dive in turns with the rear wheel in the air and sometime sliding into corners like a supermoto  :D

Anyway, here are my suggestions and report :

Just a quick idea, the Ducati pulls the auto-clutch to early and when you are breaking with both breaks, the clutch will be pulled all the way, until you go on the gas. Would be good if you can fix that, because that is a little bit annoying, unless it is realistic, but I doubt that :D

-> +1 !!!  At 100+ km/h in 2nd, the auto clutch engage. I think the 2nd gear can handle 50km/h without any problem.
-> Idle sound : c'mon guys, I'm sure you can do better !!  ;)
-> When you put the handle bar on the right, full right, the buttons panel on the left handle go through the windshield

Owners Club / Scheduled race evening
February 15, 2017, 10:36:46 AM
Hello guys !

It's been such a while since the last race being held here. We are so many and in the same time, so few to ride together. Why don't we race more often ??
My idea was to scheduled a race, one evening per week. Something funny that allows rookie to join the fun.

Let say, for instance, every sunday evening, practice starts at 19:00 qualif at 20:00 and then we make a series of 2/3/4 little races, 15 minutes each. So every body could hence the pace.
Aliens could fight in the front and rookies could maw the lawn in the back.
We could have a new bike per week to allow people to discover new category and explore new mods.

How is it hard/simple to manage this kind of repeted event ??

MCF I do a full siton system but I need to keep costs down. As soon as you add any motion to a sit on system just add a $1000 to cost to make it safe!!!
I am building for most people not just rich people guys. I dont have any money and make little if any real profit as most goes into development and tooling.

You are so right in this vision of things ;) !  But, I am pretty sure, no, I'm completly sure that a head tracker could be use to detect lean.
357
That is an interesting question that bring me to another... How do you manage manual lean with the hs2 ???

@Tchemi: I forgot to add  ... I think it should take very little time to MagicFR to adapt his mod from AssettoCorsa to GPB/MXB/WRS/KRP (from what I read, he's a real game dev, not an amateur like me). If he's up to it he can get in touch with me (I live in France so i speak a somehow decent french), just to help him starting with GPB plugin stuff.

I thought about it too but I'm not sure PIBOSO would let a stranger put his hand in his code. I'm also a dev so that's why I offer my help.

Anyway, to stay focused on the topic. You are right ! Getting telemetry then filter it with emulated head movement is too much complicated imo. I'm sure we can achieve something acceptable more simply.
359
So, I think that a good starting point could be to import the MXB 1P cam into GPB for testing purpose.
No ? What do you think ? MAx, You are the boss of pluggins, Do you think it is manageable ?

Double post !!

Yes, as you can see in this example, the bike is shaking like hell. The vision is shaking too, but far less. When it land after the first jump, you can see the torso going down, like if you were going to eat the bar (don't laugh, I know someone that plant his tooth in a steering bar).

I think that the 1st p cam in mxb is way more stabilized, but when you look closely, not that much in fact...
