takes a lot of practice
braking without braking pressure (like in real life) is difficult, so especially the initial moments of braking are tricky.
in order to have more fine control over the brake at the (stoppie or traction) limit, I position my braking fingertip not on the trigger but on the bit of plastic just beneath the trigger.
like this:

so i'm kind of sliding (the first joint of) my finger along the bottom side of the trigger instead of pressing down on it.
this allows a lot of pressure (as you can see by the color of my fingertip) but still only having very small movement of the trigger so very fine and precise control. most importantly the shape and (intuitive) finger placement automatically creates a "limit" that makes it possible to quickly get maximum deceleration without just slamming the trigger to 100% and flipping the bike.

warning: it doesn't work so well when you have sweaty fingers.
Mal sehen ob es mit einem PS4 Controller funktioniert, aber ich probiere es aus. Ich will dieses Spiel echt meistern und eure Tips erleichtern mir es echt :)

i wouldn't bother buying a bike if i was you..  ;D ;D

joking aside.. what do you think is wrong? the actual ''front flip'' ? or the fact that the bike actually wants to endo or flip?

you have to brake as hard as possible.. yes, but in a split second ''squeeze'' and load up the suspension before jamming the brakes on full..

give it a try  ;)

I actually have a bike, a Cagiva Mito 125 and I am also geared up, I only need a driving license, but I am nearly done :). I think, that the front flip is wrong, not the stoppie. You do a stoppie when you hit the brakes too hard, but I think, that I do not hit the brakes too hard. I saw a youtube video were someone rode the same bike, only with this telemetry/data thing on and I saw, that he hit the brakes way more harder then me, but the bike was really flat. I will try everything out tomorrow :)

Hi and welcome to GPB forums.

First off, the demo bike is not the best bike to be judging GPB on.

What controller are you using and have you calibrated it and it may need xinput plugin for the triggers to work properly.

Download the plugin from here: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=95.0

You need to adjust linearity and deadzone possibly?

Do not get frustrated, it is just that you are not used to a real simulation and you need to set up your controller first.

Once you get a license and have mod bikes and access to the other GPB bikes it is much better.

DD

Hope this helps get you started

Thank you, I will download the plugin tomorrow :). I use a PS4 controller and I play a lot of car sims, but I race with a wheel and it feels so diffrent when you use a controller, even though it is a completely other game XD

Hello,
I downloaded the gp bikes demo and I tried it out. But I have strange problems with the braking. When I am pulling the trigger of my controller completely back, the bike letrally does a frontflip. Even if I puu it to the half back, I do a wheelie. It just feels wrong, in my opinion and I am about to ride a 125ccm in real life.

Can anybody help me, because I really want to buy this game  :)
