Nick is right. My first feeling was "yes! Lets do this" but after I've read the second post I was thinking like |if people make it for fun, for community they shouldn't have any pressure on them". When ppl will pay for modders job they will start to have demands. Do this, do that, what are you paid for...etc. And the passion turns to occupation. Anyway... As long as I can and modders wish it I try to support their work, because I have two left hands and no computer knowledge so I can't support the community, despite I have lots of ideas and wishes what to change. To be honest the game would be probably dead without modders and their work. In conlusion - if modders would like to get donations I am for it... if its going to be a mandatory for every modder I'm against. Don't want to put any pressure on anyone.

Mods / Re: GPBikes Crashes everytime I select a modbike
October 07, 2017, 11:53:51 AM
Hi
I assume that the problem occurs at Victoria track or other modded one? If the poblem is on a standard game track then the problem lies in bikes files. If on any other track there might be a different problem.
Anyway. All bike files *.pkz must be placed in C:\Program files _x8)\gpbikes\gpbikes\bikes folder (no other subfolders needed). Than bikes require tyres files must be placed C:\Program Files (x86)\gpbikes\gpbikes\tyres folder
Without it the bikes you choose will crash the game.
Second thing is that if the track crashes it might need a program called LAAHack that need to be installed. So I suggest to try the bikes on Victoria Circuit to check if its a bike or track error.
And last thing. The current version of the game is Beta12b. Be sure that you install the bikes from that site: https://mega.nz/#F!GdAUhKxA!04IzRVoF6CEVLUq2nbpH1g

Yes yes I know this thread. I do not blame anyone I understand the situation. I just wanted to verbalise my wish to have full game sooner :)

Yeah..and look at tracks like Outlon Park or Brands Hatch... or even Donington...they are mind blowing... Still shame that the development speed is so slow.

Janaucarre - P.S. Install bike stands to motogp bikes. They wont go underground like in the first photo.

Going back to topic, thank you for that information. I, as a new person in this game, spend a lot of time finding out things. One more tip. Smoothing out the controls do not help. I thought it will but in the end the bike was more unstable. Direct controls seem to be the best.

fucking fantastic game, physics like nothing else really.

Same feeling here... I don't think that I will find any motorcycle game as good as this one.

The problem with DEMO Bike is that it allows extreme leans that can't be handeled by tires. You can override it but lowering the lean axis gain to less than 100%. Thanks to it the bike won't reach its maximum leans. And also automatic left right balance helps a lot. Thanks to it the rider balances automatically.
Anyway the modded bikes are much more user friendly...but yeah..the game is frustating at the start because Milestone games learned us that we should not play their games like real life motorcycles. Here is the opposide. Don't do things that you won't do in real life :-D

Setups / Re: Suspension rates
October 04, 2017, 07:27:34 PM
Have the same feeling. Not sure if the suspension effect depend on the each bike and it depends on how the bike is prepared by modders or its overall game physics. Sam thing with fork rake, trail and swingarm. Anyway I still miss some suspension guide as I am still not sure if higher number gives more or less compression.
