ESP: GP Bikes en Español, te has atrevido a traducir todas las palabras al Español. Que sepas que muchas gente lo a intentado y no lo a conseguido.

Muchas gracias, descargando.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: race_length in laps
April 04, 2014, 01:44:27 AM
To be able to select between time and laps would be the ideal choice.

I like the idea as I like to be able to live real situations in a sim, but I'm not sure if that could be hard to implement. The only problem I see here is that sometimes the bike takes meters and meters until it stop rolling and crashing, just right now my Kawasaki Ninja has travel like an entire T1 section while I was sit down on the ground scratching my head (isn't that the post-accident gesture?). After a few agonizing moments while the bike stopped I managed to ride again, in that scenario your pilot should run through a straight on spa for a minute and a half.

+1

I use to do exactly that in rFactor and all is perfectly arranged.

Translations / Spanish translation

English:
Hi all! Here is my spanish translation for GP Bikes. I'm open to changes so feel free to suggest any modification or report a mistake. I'm not so familiar with bike tech language so I'm not sure if some of the garage words are well translated so please comment.

Regards.

How to install:
Drop it into "..Program Files\GP Bikes\gpbikes\ui" You will need to create the "ui" folder manually.

GPB (and WRS) is OpenGL, not DX.

But the "hat off" stands anyway :)

True! good choice, it looks awesome. As I've said I should get hands at work and try to make some mod. I'm not a bike guru, but physics is all related to numbers and tech data. If you want to take an eye to some of my mods for other sims you can find 'em in the link below my avatar picture.

I've been riding online with some of you this afternoon and I've enjoyed a lot, bikes are totally awesome and the feeling is superb. I've expecting lot of next gen sims and after taste all of them I've totally fall in love with gp bikes and I've forgotten the rest. PiBoSo has done a quite nice job with physics engine, and if the modding community keep growing this could be gorgerous.

Please PiBoSo, keep working on this, the online experience is awesome and I also enjoy a lot hot lapping. Driving Riding has never been so fun after now!

As a car fan, maybe you would like to post your opinions about World Racing Series and how to improve it.

Sure, I'm installing it and later will write something in the WRS forum.

You PiBoSo really have talent, no much people know how hard is to create a sratch physics engine and run it as good as gp bikes does and combine it with a good DX9 integration. Again, I take my hat off.

BTW, I'm using a logitech G25 controller set at 55º I must say that the FFB is pretty well made, you can perfectly feel the weight of the bike and despite it isn't a bike controller, I manage to feel inmersed in the sim just using the swheel and the pedals (clutch pedal as rear brake). I spend happy afternoons riding the GP500 machines with a big smile in my face.

If you guys have a steering wheel controller you should try it with gp bikes.

Regards.

Hi all! I'm David from Spain. I have not much experience with bikes, in fact I'm more fan of cars while my girlfriend is the bike fan in home! so we have some dissapointment when we go outside and must choose between my car or her bike  ;D

Anyway I have been playing sims since GTR1; I've played GTR2, LFS and mostly rFactor and now rFactor 2. I also actively participate in the rFactor modding scene since one year, specialy with physics development. Now GP Bikes has my totally attention and I must congratulate to GP Bikes modders, honestly, good job guys!

I've followed PiBoSo trail since the first GP Bikes published alpha and with the last beta4 it has turned my favourite sim so far! now I've become a totally bike fan. I've only driven few bikes in real life and I'm not sure of how close is this sim in term of physics with real life, but the feeling is absolutely addictive, I can't stop playing and now I'm understanding how the cornering works with bikes, it is really fun!

Congratulations PiBoSO and a big thanks for this great sim, I encourage to you to keep developing this jewel and I should say the very first good bike sim ever. Good job!

Regards.

Suggestions and wishlist / Minimum FOV
April 02, 2014, 01:07:40 AM
I wonder if it could be possible or planified to add a lower value for the minimum field of view. I think 20 FOV could be a good minimum field of view value for users with 19" monitors who want to have a realistic FOV experience.

Edit: for those who are curious, I've found a way to get a lower FOV value. Yoy need to change your profiler.ini file in "...Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\profiles\your-user-name"

[view]
fov=60.000000

Change 60.00... for a lower value and it's done.
