I didn't realise the Occulus only has 1:1 movement - that isn't good maybe the final version will have some scaling software? Another reason TRACKIR support would be nice.

Fair enough if you want to adjust the movement ratio but 1:1 is exactly how it should be, for it not to be will undermine the realism. Better solution might be using the current button to look back, assuming this will still be available while using VR headsets?

Like your additional movement of the bars, how does it feel to move up and down, is it sprung loaded to help or just pivoting?

Cheers. The front back movement was born from me pushing and pulling instinctively on the bars and then realising I had to push a button. It feels very natural to use and yes is sprung loaded to sit roughly central and offer resistance. Had to reduce the spring load though as at first it was knackering me out after about 10mins, now it's fine although I'm sure is still good for core strength ;)

That's a seriously tasty bit of kit you've got there DD, may your creations be precise and profitable!  :)

And I tried a few different shapes and sizes but these gave the best results, cheap too linky

Snagged a few sensors, £2 ea for the more sensitive version (twice the volts out per gauss).

Have you gone for the  2.5 mV/G version of them? If so would you mind posting what rotation amount gives full voltage range please? Might give me some more fidelity options if I'm thinking right about the mV/G differences.

Be good to see that video  :)

Demo out today but it looks like you've been riding it for years Bob.... umm oh yea  :-\

I'd normally ask if anyone's managed a clean lap but yet but with this, has anyone actually managed to crash a bike yet?   ;D And no a game crash doesn't count.

Support / Re: Assigning one button for both brakes?
March 12, 2015, 10:02:50 AM
Yea good, so it works  :) but the method might need some clarity. Could it be the controls are reset when you go into the settings screen in game, this happens in MXB if you manually set your FOV above the menu limit, if you go to settings in game it resets things to he menu parameter limit, removing your manual edit of said setting?

If it's the same as MX Bikes you can apparently do this manually by editing the controls text file http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=241.0, I've never tried it though, if you do let us know if it works please.

I'll be up to watch at least the start live but will have it recorded so I can continue from where I crashed out at in the morning  ;)

Also the Eurosport Superpole show was a bit broken up eh  :o

Would I be right in thinking that this is not something that real rider would have on his dash?

For the kill switch maybe think about the jet ski kind of thing. A short cord and peg from wrist to a sprung switch, remove your hand from the grip and it dies.

I have a T500 and turn it down for anything but a demo of the FFB, it's a real work out on full but nothing a grown man couldn't overpower.

Looking sweet btw  :D

Have a blast on the 500GP round it, your SV will seem a breeze afterwards ;)

And Teeds, it'll be my second trackday (did one on my Daytona back in august at Folmebray) but it'll be my on this bike. Im north of Norwich so Snetterton is my closest track by far :)

So you'll be bashing the GPB Snetty track then?  ;)  It's an old version but some of the corners are still relevant.
