Dear @PiBoSo,

after much RECENT discussion here (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2556.0) and here (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2560.0) we would appreciate your comment on the possibility, and hence, likelihood of the Respawn feature being developed in the following direction, if possible, please.

Problem:
Respawn after a crash occurs at the position the bike left the track and not in the position the bike ends up.

Affect:
Multiple pile-ups occur due to a bike suddenly re-appearing in the middle of the track often on the racing line.

Critical Effect:
99 out of 100 online races are ruined by this 'problem'.

Community Suggested change:
1. When Respawn is made it should be where the bike currently lies, whether that be on-track or off-track is immaterial. If the bike is off track and stuck or behind a barrier (for example) then respawn need not be available and rider should have 'return-to-pit' option only.  It would be important the bike doesn't move position or disappear at any point so other riders can see it.

Interference items and suggestions:
1. Laptimes: if a checkpoint is cut while the bike is falling, the lap is still counted during a race but not during testing, quali, warmup. One way to do this would be: ignore checkpoints during races as far as the lap count goes.  But if a checkpoint is cut by a rider, just signal it in the race results and the race directors will see what to do with that.

We hope this makes sense as it is one of the highest priority items your community hopes for.
