Supermoto isn't for nothing IMO 

Anyway, all tyres simulations (at least for PiBoSo) are based on the Pacejka magic formula so no real reasons to have different file structures in long term.

As far as I know, there are some differences in the formulas between bikes and kart/cars tyres. Also, MXB tyres should have some extra stuff (bulldozing effect etc).

SM tyres are kind of slick tyres, usually looking like this :


Supermoto tyres are closest to GPB tyres than actual MXB tyres, even if some MXB "cross" tyre structure should be implemented on those "slick" tyres to fit perfectly MXB. That's probably why PiBoSo decided to unify those two file formats.

Of course all of what I'm saying is pure supposition, only PiBoSo can confirm everything

It would be interesting for Piboso to elaborate further on this. However if I'm not mistaken, I'm sure Piboso did say in the past(correct me if I'm wrong on this Piboso) that the SuperMoto bike would be better suited to MXB rather than GPB so.....??

That Piboso vid posted is not showing the SuperMoto bike in action in GPB, it's in WRS, Matty.
