Sounds good. But as other have pointed out, you would need to re-name the folder where the bike is to be put in the Bile MOD. (I havent had a chance to download it yet.)

I know being the "Spelling Police" isn't funny but is it now called the 'BILE' MOD officially as a kind of representation of how messy it will get if the folder names aren't standardised? Or is that just a spello.  :-X

really nick... low blow mate, low blow ;D

Wow... new M1, even with the new exhaust  8) thanks guys! Can't wait for the other bikes to come. Amazing mod already.

Btw, are there separate physics and engines planned in the future? That would actually be AMAZING! (well ultra-amazing, since it already is amazing  ;))

Hi ...

impressive designs there. To get it right, Yamaha should be a 1000cc Inline-4 Crossplane Crankshaft not an V4 ;).
Great work, keep it up

~doN

PS: Is anybody able to get a nice "Big-Bang" audio out of the yamaha engine?? :D

You could use the sound from Riccochicco's m1 i guess?

Well, ive tried it but some files seem to be missing ... i mean, you cant hear any engine sound in some revs.
I dont know how to deal with that. I would love to do the sound myself but i dont know how :P

Well, ive tried it but some files seem to be missing ... i mean, you cant hear any engine sound in some revs.
Did you try the sound from this M1 mod? You should be able to hear sound in all rpm ranges, otherwise you did something wrong. Just download the (old) M1 mod file, then extract the following files and copy them into the new M1 bike folder:
  • M1_idle.wav
  • M1_off.wav
  • M1_offlow.wav
  • M1_offmid.wav
  • M1_onhigh.wav
  • M1_onlow.wav
  • engine.scl
  • sfx.cfg
The last 2 files are very important, otherwise the sounds will be not played. Just overwrite the old files for engine.scl and sfx.cfg. Make copies if you wish to be able to un-do the changes.

You will most likely like this sound mod from Warlock. It is a very steady sound, which is important for assessing the engine rpms when on track. You cannot go fast without a good steady sound, many forget that.

PS: Is anybody able to get a nice "Big-Bang" audio out of the yamaha engine?? :D
I also have made a sound mod for M1, which has more the big bang character imo (I used a real M1 onboard sound file), but it is not as perfectly steady as Warlock's sound. So you will probably prefer the more steady sound. But give me a pm if you wanna try my big bang sound.

PPS: For the Honda RC213V you may want to try my RC213V sound mod   ;) let me know what you think of it, I have other versions as well which you could try.
