Count me in for Sundays or mondays , only days i can do it.

Will be worth to create an event in racing subforum?  Not a race, because you couldn't join after race started but a 12H best lap session, to get as many people as possible.

After a few days from the latest update there haven't been reports of serious issues.
So, it seems like the good time to start debugging netcode.

The best way would be to have a dedicated server with Victoria ( with dynamic track of course ) and the stock bikes only. Baby steps.
Then a group big enough of GPBikers is needed, to make sure to stress the server enough to generate crashes and the other problems ( like chat / laptimes not being recorded after a while ).
Then I should join the server and try to catch the crashes using GP Bikes in debug mode.
This will require a lot of patience on the testers' side  :-[

Can someone set up a dedicated server with a good connection?

I think Dibu can provide that service for you, and i would gladly setup such a server for you.
This server needs to be run with a loaded .grv? with all sessions enabled? practice, qualifying race?
Weather dry, wet, wind no wind? Max players 24?

In the weekend (Friday till 'Sunday) i can keep my eye on the server.
If youre not in a big hurry and wait 4 weeks i will have christmas holiday and i could monitor server every day for 2 weeks if needed.

How exactly do you want servers set up Piboso. Obviously NO mods lol but any particular bike or ALL bikes?

I cant do 24/7 yet but can do a 10AM to 12AM every day no problem. My connection is good, should be for the cost lol. I can give you the admin password as well so you can do as you wish

@Peter, people get a missing bike error if you try to run this server at my host. The CAWS bikes of your Dropbox are linked to the GPB folder which you are controlling.

@PiBoSo
If you only need a dedicated server with Victoria and stock bikes, you can get it in a few minutes. Just let me know the settings of dedicated.ini and replay size. As I'm often not at home, I can offer servers with auto restart after crash or not, as you wish.

If you need a full server with RDP or Teamviewer access (Hardware or VM), depending on my free time, I can set it up at the weekend.

I think there should be at least two different test servers, e.g. one of DD and one of mine or maybe Alibaskins is willing to host one.

If it's ok for you, I'll use your dedicated.ini and start a server from a second folder.

Let them run Peter, if necessary I'll shut them down and also the WRS servers.
