Hey Urban, if you need some 2 Stroke sounds, I still have my 125ccm 2-Stroke. Maybe you can use some sounds for the upcoming 250ccm 2-Strokes, because they do not sound diffrent, in my opinion.
Heeeeeey Hoooooo

If you could provide some 2 stroke sound samples of 10 sec lengths at constant RPM at different RPM ranges that would be great mate.... Just don't blow your engine in the process. Lol ;D

Edit: Note what the RPM is for each sample. Thanks. ;)

Hawk.

Well, I can try it. But I do not want to redline her, and on the higher rpms I do not want to hold her long... I will give it a try when I have my new chain :)

Sure thing bro. Red-line isn't needed, so no need to stress your engine in that manner. For now, I think you need only record 4 or 5 sound samples: engine idle, low rpm, medium rpm, high rpm, and very high rpm. Very high rpm (at any point of significant stress) most likely isn't even necessary, so I wouldn't say you need to record that if you feel it would wear the engine. Of course, the rpm points to which you will designate those names depends on how high your bike revs, and how high you'd like to rev it.

As for duration, the engine idle sound can be 10 to 30 seconds. Preferably while the bike is warmed up. The others can be 6 to 10 seconds.

I don't know if the question was already asked but...

Can a mod be used for another bike ?? like, use the ducati motoGP sound for an other ducati ??

No prob. You can upload a youtube video, as long as you feel it will sound good. "engine idle" is the sound the bike makes while it's on, without you touching the throttle.

Yes, you can use the sound mods with any bike(s) you want. However, the sound will vary from bike to bike, because different bikes' engines behave in different ways. For example, I chose to make the R1 sound mod specifically for the SBK R1 and not the WSBK R1M, because the R1M revs up and down too unrealistically, and causes the sound to pitch unrealistically. Of course you can still use the SBK R1 sound mod with the WSBK R1M without any problems.

So: if you'd like to use a sound mod with any other bike, you can.

Audio in youtube videos is heaviliy compressed, so not good.

Raw .wav file for audio samples.

MultiCOOLFRESH

Yeah,

I got an audio recorder plus mic. I will do a vid after a nice ride, when the bike is warm and after I have got my new chain.
