Just tried to open "TerrainEd", but not able to do it. It shows a Windows terminal for few milliseconds and then nothing  :-[

No problem with TrackEd.

TerrainEd at the moment is a command-line software only.

I wasn't able to get the auto zoom feature to work. I set the camera up for it, then in the bikes camera file I added the code but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Did you get the autozoom to work in the meantime? I have used it with some cams and it works.

Reference 0.100000
Min FOV 0.000000
Max FOV 60.000000
for example

and the change in the cameras.cfg (I used what PiBoSo wrote).

If it really doesn't work I could upload a cam file, too.

I just changed the original cam file for Victoria (Trackside). Some cams don't make sense but it works for me.
The cameras.cfg is the one I have for the Murasama RC990.

Hope it helps!
