Beta12b Adding Mod bikes to dedicated server?

I cant add Mod bikes to dedicated server, tried different ways but cant find the right way lol

misc

Tried that BUT I thought misc was not needed for stands in a server?

So.....are the folders directly in gpbikes folder or a mods folder as per the client?

EDIT tried as per beta11b and get core crash

can be in C:\"whateveryouhave"GP Bikes\gpbikes.

Or in a separate mods folder but you have too ask Dibu how he has it setup.

Okay so got moto2 working by having folers in install folders gpbikes folder NOT a mods folder

I see you solved your problems now. But maybe it's usefull for other people who want to run a server.


It's exactly as Peter posted - use the same folders as on client side.

My server installation folders look like this:

C:\Racing\GPB\gpbikes\
C:\Racing\GPB\gpbikes\bikes
C:\Racing\GPB\gpbikes\misc
C:\Racing\GPB\gpbikes\tyres

All .pkz files and extracted folders reside inside the appropriate folders.

Ah now I get what you mean and it saves having to have twice as many mod files cool

All you really need to know is add the same lines to the server core,ini to have ALL the mods you have in your GAME GPB on your server!!!

its far better if you just have to link to your games mod files instead of having to make copies on the server

The new gaff is in the stix with a shared network. In effect I am two routers away from the main and can't port forward where it counts. It also means I cannot join any non dedicated servers pfffffff.

But yeh the new Mod folders are brilliant for the server. I remember asking our Max if it could be setup using scripts but what I tried never worked. How much easier life will be only having to keep one folder updated with all the mods. Ace.

I only just got me server working and have many systems to build so real busy but will be holding one soon.

Shame we cant get H's Nord_LS_NDS to work online.

I watched it take up to 5.7GB trying to join it online then cored lol
