I was waiting for reviews of the Samsung C49HG90 but:

• There's none yet and I'm tired of waiting.
• It's probably a bit too big for my desk/room/distance from it.
• It costs the double (and the aoc is not exactly a cheapo).

The whole point of it is *not* having 2 or 3 monitors.

The samsung is 32:9, i.e. just like 2 x 27" 16:9 side by side, but without the annoyance of 2 monitors.

Congrats on the purchase! I own an Acer Z35p and love it. I did own an Acer X34 before. Love the extra 20hz. Ultra Wide Monitors are friggin awesome.

You're not gonna believe it: one day after I got the new monitor, one RAM stick went dead. Corsair stuff so lifetime warranty, but I have to RMA the whole kit (4x4GB) so I'm without my (desktop) PC since a week, waiting for the RMA.
