I made a streetbike set if your interested. I never new how to add just the bikes so it means a single install next to your normal GP500 real easy copy and paste job lol.

i still have it, and play it now and then, not much since GPB, though...
while on the subject, though, does anyone know of any cure for the problem it started suffering since, i think, XP, where the game suddenly speeds up for a second or so, usually resulting in a crash....
that was probably the only thing that bothered me quite a bit, especially as i like doing full length races - this would happen every few laps, and really spoil things for me....
as far as i'm aware, there never really was a fix for this, but if anyone knows, i'm sure someone on this forum will... ?

Bugger I forgot what cured that Doc. The person to talk to would be grT if you cant get her here I am chatting at mo with her on Pcars forum. I will ask her for you now and let you know though okay.

O.K. Doc try these DropBox links:

You should end up with two folders. A gp500 folder (main game folder) and a separate 1991Data folder.

Rename the 1991 Data folder to just Data and place it within the main gp500 folder. Change origgp500.exe file or the coregp500.exe file (cannot remember which..try both ) to just gp500.exe and then off you go..

You might need to set compatibility to windows xp or 98 and hopefully then it should work. Fully cracked and fully patched. I hope it cures the speed-up bug for you. For some it does for some it doesn't. Give it a go anyway. Please excuse the pink skins and helmets lol. The IOM TT track is selected via Phillip Island and Dundrod via Brno I think.

Let me know how you get on. If this doesn't fix it talk to grooveski..maybe he can help you solve it?

Hi people, just trying to install this on a windows 10 laptop. Has anyone had any success with this? Getting an error "Vertigo Error #2 no valid 3dfx drivers found' when i try and run the re-named gp500.exe file. I have tried to switch between windows 95 and windows 98/SE in compatibility mode as well...  Please help

There is a fix for this but will have to look back in my files to see what it was it is to do with a patch you need. Will let you know if I find it again lol
