will new helmet/suit paint make online crash?

so if you dont DL all bikes for online session itll crash, just wondered if thats the same with paints for bike/suit or helmet?
IE if i create my own paint scheme and take it into online lobby, will it crash or just not show up to other people in lobby?

also if im the host and use a custom paint, do the other people that want to join have to also DL the paints just to join?

No, if you dont have the skins/helmets it will use the standard ones. As long as you don't have on your pc the paints/helmets as other riders have you will see them as standard in game model.

If you don't have the bikes you will not be able to connect to lobby - it gives bike mismatch error. If you don't have the tracks that are on the servers, you will not simply see those servers.
