Hi all,

Is there much involved in building a track as there is a few close by me that i would love to see on gpb. I dont really know much about computers so dont think i would be able to do this myself, or would there be anyone that could do this for me for a fee? Sorry for the silly questions but not sure were to start.

Thanks in advance

There is a ton of involved. What are the tracks you are wanting done?

Hi bison160

Thanks for the reply. Bishopscourt national circult in N. Ireland would be the main one but there is 2 more local to me also. What would be starting point when doing this? Would it be something you could do?

Not really something I have the time to do, but I was curious about the locations of the tracks to see if any lidar data would be available. Unfortunately I have no idea about anything across the pond. A lot of the US has survey data available which are a good place to start. If you have access to anything like that, it would be a good start to getting a version of the track into 3d form.

From there you just need a lot of time, and 3dsMax and Photoshop.

no problem, not sure how i would go about getting survey data but will look into it.

Cheers anyway biston160
