It is possible to download a patch at this link, to avoid having to re-download the whole installer:

To install it, simply overwrite the file gpbikes/gpbikes.dll in the GP Bikes installation folder.

Release notes
- This update is a code patch only. Therefore, there are no fixes for the M2 bike issues ( overheating front tyre and onboard replay cameras ).
- When using the "Free Roam" camera in replay, the numpad decimal key now cycles between normal mode, mouse look and tracking
- The "Free Roam" camera FOV adjustment is now non-linear
- "Max Power" in the "Bike Info" page has been changed from kW to HP ( please note that modders still have to use kW in the INI file, though )
- The testing laptimes sent to the plugins should now be correct

Modding
- the chain animation should now be backward compatible. Hence, there should be no need to convert the mod bikes.

10 Minutes ago there was only "release notes " readable and nothing else - so the Questionmark.

Nichts für ungut - like the germans say :-)

Hello, Piboso (been a while again)
I see the sideways "strafing" issue is still there after the betas 15. I wonder if it could be tyre model related...
The main gripe with GPB that is currently bothering me is that rider's automatic ground kicking behavior that was introduced in beta 14 (or was it beta 13?).

Please, make it at least optional (even with a line in an .ini). Better yet, offer a key setting responsible for activating the kicking while it's being held (or toggled).
This ground kicking thing makes it extremely hard to navigate confined spaces of the pits and it even makes traversing some of the hairpins impossible for me.

And one more thing: I can't really make the mods be seen by GPB unless I physically put them into the game folder. I know that the option migrated to gpbikes.ini, but neither just putting "[mods] folder=" there, nor with the full path does seem to work for me. So far I worked around the issue using symbolic links, but please take a look into the problem.

Could you please at least give me a recompiled .exe with Automatic Dab disabled, Piboso?
I understand it most likely won't be usable online, but I'm not concerned with that.

It is possible to disable the automatic dab adding the line
Code: [Select]
autoriderdab = 0
under the "aids" section of the profile.ini file.

I feel like the downhill-understeer problem is better in this beta.
