I've seen in the beta 21 changelog that we can now configure gain for vr tracking the rider position, so where do i configure that ? there is in the input page a configuration for rider lean gain but i think it is for controller input but not for the vr tracking no ? Is it in the UI or i need to go to profile.ini ?

I'm an old member here, i've been stop playing gp bikes a while and i'm back now but since I moved my licence to steam, i cannot join online race, it is stuck on syncing screen. Do i need to re-register my licence ?

The first thing simracing teach you about real life racing or driving is that you have that sens of limit ! you'll defenitely know in advance what could happen to you in real life if you take a corner a bit too fast, lol

Discor will never be as practical as a forum, it just a nightmare to search for something specific since it hasn't a dedicated thread of each subject ! i really didn't understand that hype for discord !

You cannot own 2 copy of the same game in steam, wich mean you need to create new steam account !

using also steam vr since Beta 10, never got problem !

Motion sickness sould be less with motion rig, cause the difference of what your eye see in VR and what your brain / internal ear / body feels is the main reason why you fell sick with VR ! so this difference sould decrease with motion rig, even it will never be like IRL (lack of G force etc .... )

What do you really want ?

1 - You want to play in Direct Steer mode ? (that mimic the real word) the steering is controlled by your controller and the rider lean by your VR headset position (wich also influence the bike lean a little bit, like in real word). If you want that, i don't think a Xbox or any "joystick" will be playble, there was only one men who was able to play gpbikes in Direct Steer mode, he's name is klax, but i think that took him Years of practice to juste be able to make 1 lap without falling ! so i think you'll need a force feedback wheel or homemade ffb controller to be able to use Direct Steer mode.

2 - You just want to play gpbike the normal way (push right direction to lean right and vice versa )  but want to controll the rider lean by your VR heaset and you feel that leaning sensivity is too much. So you'll need to check :

- Joystick calibration as said above
- Direct Lean value : 100 % = 1:1 scale ration of your joystick and the bike steering angle. if you want it to be smoothed lower it (20 - 50 %) should work.
- Steering gain : check that you didn't push it up by inadvertance.
- Check also dead zone setting.

I don't think making each axe one by one is a good idea, i mean it will be more simple and more reliable to first make the bike mounted on a ball joint rather than a single axe . All the DOF will just after depend on number of motor 'you'll be using !

I found it way easier to ride in Direct steer mode with the late beta's if you reset the virtual rider default front/back lean more in the back (i'm using Vr i don't know if it work on standard scree). You can lean more easily when the neutral standing of the virtual rider is more backward !

I can create server, go to the garage page but as soon as i hit go to track gpbikes crashes to desktop, no error message !

Piboso said it become permanently invalid for stand alone ! want i don't know is the case of WRS, cause it share the same key as Gp Bikes

Double check the email, i tryed it like 20 times before i realize it was not the email i used to buy it (i don't know if you can ask Piboso to confirm you the mail you used )

@doubledragon : make sur you put th right e-mail (the paypal email you use to pay gpbikes) in the steam cconvertion page. Igot the same problem, i didn't remember the paypal mail i used so it say invalid key ! once i put the correct email ! it work instantly !
