I use the 14.2 and I don't really notice any difference with the 15.

why you always have to take such unnecessary tracks her on a fun event? :o
motogp does so on a track not fun. ::)
but is only my opinion. 8)

MotoGP are not good bikes for this track
His opinion :P
After a couple of laps you'll get used to the track.

Sorry you're not keen on the choice finpower. :(
I know it's a handfull of a track and that the MGP bikes get up to speed fast enough to get into trouble just about everywhere....
....what can I say - I like roller coasters. :-[
Sendai doesn't get any easier on other bikes. I've grown fond of the place and have tried most of them here. The MGP bike's range of gearing and electronic options makes it easier than most to get set up for the track's trickyness...
...and while you may be going slower on other bikes - you just brake later and end up in all the same sticky situations. :P
Ran a tank dry there and and got nearly 29 laps out of it. Know some of the quick guys use a fair bit more juice than I do so thought 26 laps for the race. :)
Rodrigo Garcia - Ducati #68
I too do not like this track but I do not like hermann tilkes tracks either.. good that we have a dozen good tracks..
Hi, It will be a pleasure to join you guys.
Tchemi Stalova, Ducati #6
This is one of the hardest track I have ever tried!
I'm not at home this weekend so I can't take part of this race... Anyway good luck with this track ahaha
The winner will be who won't fall :D
See you on your server!
If I'm not mistaken and remember rightly, the Sendai track is taken from laser scanned data?
It is a difficult track for the faster bikes because the corners are so slow in comparison to most other GP tracks... It's not easy to adjust to almost hairpin speed bends on almost every corner of the track but with a little practice it does become enjoyable. :)
Hawk.
In fact kerb and asphalt is very good, the only problem are the slow turn wich is easy to lose front.
But with practice and a lot of sensibility on the pad is very enjoyable :)

If your riding a bike that is losing the front end(for no good reasons) on this track it is a problem with the bike mod physics tuning and not a problem with GPB core physics or with the track mesh in this case, unlike some other tracks that do cause problems of that kind. ;)
Hawk.

I wouldn't be surprised. Was watching a couple of on-bike laps from a trackday last night and thinking that the builder had done a fantastic job on the model. 8)
Think I'm about done with my setup so here it is if anyone wants to try it.

Manu #69 - Honda
Some general information would be great as the best time i got was 1:42.96 .
I was hoping someone could advise.
What fuel load to expect for total race - any advice of hard braking rear wheel lifting constant on front straight ;(
looking forward to it my friends
If i can make it i will be in for this one ;)
Meyer12 #12 Honda with IAS Hotpink to make Mr. DD happy if his offer with the gummybears is still up ;) otherwise i need to find a new team :P
grooveski how do you open the stp file you provided with the setup?
nurb you have to use the setup file IN GPB setup window. You put the setup file in your profile folder as below
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\profiles\IASystems\setups\Sendai_V0.8_NDS\....bike folder ie RC213V....
DD
DD!! I feel a bit ignored ;)

Here are the times that were up when I left last night.
I'll be running a full tank. Will probably have a couple of litres left(and another for every time I'm lapped :P ) but the rear end has been stepping out on me more at the approach to the hairpin when the load is low, so the extra weight seems to be a good thing at the moment. :)
Are the qually and warmup times okay for you G

How do you restart the race if someone jumpstarts?
I don't see an option anywhere. ??? All I have is back to pits and continue on the menu.
Have rummaged around the wiki and forum looking for an admin command or the likes but haven't found anything - a pointer or procedure would be appreciated.

Not to sure m8. I have never had to do it.
Best to ask Nick or someone that races a lot
Sorry for being dub. Will look into it
DD
Matty to the rescue! :D
The little arrow next to Race Length in the Event Info screen - above where the Admin button is.
I'd got it in my mind that they were for polls - but no - they restart sessions.
You can use the same button to skip quali sessions too if you wanted to and get straight to a race(presumably with a random grid)
Sorted! :)
Oh yeah.....................I fogot about those dodads....................old age takin effect

That's us done DD. Thanks for the loan of your laptop. :)
Any chance you could save out the replay? - don't think my buffer was set high enough. :(
congratulate jan for victory.

Congratulations Yan - Very impressive performance! 8)
Looked like a fight for the rest of the podium at the start of the race. 2nd, 3rd & 4th all came past glued together when y'all lapped me. ;D
Sorry to Yama for the start - my starts are always lousy - that coming together was my fault, I should have got off the line better. :-[
(although it looked like you just got away with it that time)
After the carnage at the start I tried to settle down.
...and failed - three daft crashes at the same corner - the lefthander on the way up the hill. Frustrating because I really thought I'd sussed that corner days ago. grrr! Guess the excitement of the race messed with my throttle control.
...and one crash up at the mini-spoon-curve affair about half way through the lap. That one didn't surprise me much - been having trouble there all week.
....and a couple of run-offs while worrying about folk lapping me - one deliberate, the other not so much. :P
Total shambles really but inbetween I was banging in 49s just like I'd been hoping to and accomplished the main mission(not taking out any of the leaders while they lapped me). :)
However messy it may have ended up - was still great to be back on a grid again. :D See you all at the next one!
When is the next race?
Maybe on Sunday?
