On this track I used the new camera system (Auto zoom) for this one to work you must add this line of code :

Good job guys ! Only did a few laps (600):
- Why the mountains in the distance have that weird "washed out" colour ?
- Surface looks good (again, just tried the 600 for a few laps), except the double right hander (Arrabbiata 1 and 2). Nothing new, except the fact here instead of having the usual "bike seeming to spin on its vertical axes", there seem to be the rear suspension starting to "pump"

mountains are all white as background track, unless it is exported with the .map file, but I could not do it because it is too far from what we actually see the mountains a view as we advance in the track

Even if I put the
drawdistance to 100000 in my profile.ini, the far mountains still have a weird color.

I think he wants to say that you can't see the mountains well when you ride fast. So it doesn't matter if they're white or colored ;)

Very good job on Mugello, thank you Noss and Hawk.
The problem of the "white mountains" is the fog: if you put its density to zero in the .amb file, the mountains have the correct colors.
I'm no expert on this stuff, but it seems the current model for the fog works well for nearby objects but not at all for far objects.
By the way, the "Saint West" version of mugello had the exact same problem.

I have been trying something with this track.
Made the sun light brighter, the fog less, and added a slight blue to the ambient light.

One thing I've notice with a lot of tracks, the sun light doesn't seem bright like the sun. And the sky box for the sky, the blue sky texture doesn't seem a vibrant blue, kind of a dull blue. Not just this track but a lot of them. Seems like the saturation is low for the color.
I've already discussed this with Noss on the french forum: there's definitely too much fog density in all conditions (clear, cloudy and rainy).
I proposed him to lower the fog density to 0.0001, 0.0001 - 0.0002 and 0.0004 - 0.0008 (from the current 0.0015, 0.0010 and 0.0040 for, respectively, clear, cloudy and rainy).
Even without touching the colors, it's much better IMO.
Notice that you can change this stuff without having a data mismatch, so feel free to try. Everything is in the .amb file in the track folder.

best sun effect is on Mugello BETA1 from SaintWest...... but it's my personal opinion ;)

Loving the track, but i noticed some things in watching the replay.
Sometimes the bike (tires) float above the track surface and sometimes they sink a bit into the tracksurface.
I have seen this before on one other track but cant recall which.
Just a heads up.

I've noticed this too. On the main straight you sink in, very noticeable. Jerez has this issue also.

Thanks guys, nice track. I especially like that the up and down and the hanging corners are now represented realistically - really good job!
Only minor gripe I have is that you fall too easily on curbs. You only have to look square at a curb - and down you are. My feeling is that the white lines are the major part causing the rider to fall off magically. Is there a way of maybe increasing the grip on the white lines a bit? Even in dry weather, the white lines feel like it was rainy.
Yeah, the curbs are just weird. You touch them, and the bike engine just stops putting out power as if you were already falling?
Awesome track! Great quality and nice to ride.. Just 3 issues for me..
Rider is scared of the curbs and jumps off when I touch one lol ;D

Seems to be the uphill turns that I struggle with allways.. Track surface at mugello is really good in general though, nice work!
The problem at turn 1 essentially disappears if you use manual rider lean L/R, so I guess we can be fairly sure it's not due to the track surface.
Turn 8/9 is a different story though: the other Mugello (by Saint West) is definitely better on these two turns (not perfect neither, but better).

Exactly the same problem i had riding this track with a WSS R6.
But I most have rear end issues at turn 9 , front end is not the problem for me at that section.
I was a bit disappointed because the other Mugello track is much more ridable in that specific sections.
Maybe it´s possible to merge both together?

The second thing is not a problem, but someone has this issue on every kerbs, and that's why I show that with anti-wheeling enabled the motor cut off on the kerbs, like I said in the video.
I remember now there is a same problem at monza at the output of the double right curve, but with no riding on the kerbs it makes the same thing if you have enabled the anti-wheeling.

As the kerbs are more sliuppery than the asphalt, this may be normal: going from grippy to slippery to grippy the bike will want to wheelie (that can be explained technically) and the anti-wheeling cuts the engine to avoid that.

I drove some laps yesterday and weird things happen.
On some parts of the track if i drove over the curbs and the rider just fell off but the bike still drives straight on.
It´s the same as in the video that was posted but don´t happened on the start/finish line but on two curbs.
It was on turn 7 hitting the inside curb and turn 11 on the outside. Instandly the rider fell off the the bike while hitting/touching the curb, not the grass.....

Yep I've had this happen in two spots, can't remember which. When i slightly went off on to the curb, my rider was ejected straight up in the air, bike rides on.
IMO this is not a problem of the track. The rider is the problem. (he is a coward ;D)
Looking at the video of Janau.... I noticed just before the rider bails out the virtual rider suddenly twists the steering to the left(?). Seems that the bike is suddenly losing traction for a split second at that point for some reason.... Looks that way to me. Anyone else spot this?

Surely if the track markings/kerbs, etc, are slippery then the rear wheel should spin up in losing grip and therefore not wheelie? Or am I missing something here? OH! Or are you talking about when the rear wheel exits these markings and wheelies due to that spin up of the rear wheel when it grips again?

i observe a hole between the triangle, the white line and the asphalt, perhaps it's that where is the problem.
