By the look of noss's work it will by far be the best track done for GP Bikes so far, so yes the standard has been set, but also I would add; that far away point you mentioned is there to be surpassed. It's this kind of great work that makes others realise what is possible with a lot of hard work and dedication, and pushes others to try for even better. Which is great! ;D 8)

Great track noss, yes noticed a small amount of lag on some parts of the track, PC is struggling a little bit but not too much. I prefer the high quality tracks so for me a a smaller version is not needed, will have a graphics card upgrade in the next few months anyway ;D

It feels a bit narow to me but thatshall be me, overtaking wont be that easy on this track. Predicting some fierce racing on youre track.

- The track name (NC - Suzuka) is annoying: for other tracks you made you used the more reasonable "Scachsenriong - NC".
- The track "location" is "France". Suzuka sur Mer ? Suzuka les Bains ? ::)

I did notice too some fps drops (I went down to 90 here and there, with a i5-2500K @4.4GHz + 7950, 1920x1080 all maxed out): they are not serious, if you have a decent PC.
People with average configs may start to struggle a bit.

Noticed some drops too (80-90). But I can live with that, I lower the anti aliasing a bit ;)
No lag for me, looks great as well. couple of corners the 125 crashs' on for no reason but good work.
Great track, I noticed a slight frame rate drop some places randomly. And I do agree NC first in the name made it confusing to find. I love racing Suzuka. :D
Great track, runs smooth for me and requires a fair amount of skill too. Problem i have is that imo the 1000cc bikes their lean angle is not sufficient enough on this track. Corner speed in general is way lower then the real bikes but that really shows on Suzuka. Just my 2 cents...

I have fresh clean windows install from today, i install gpbikes, suzuka and go.
Fps are changing everywhere, so i remember that in my old install i had a fps limiter (60, i don't see the difference with higher value) with vertical sync, and now all is clean everywhere, note that i have a very little graphic card(gts250).
For applying the fps limiter go in your profile.ini

It is true that it has little grip, but that makes it harder.
Do not know if I'll be the only one, but does not give you the feeling that the track is too narrow compared to the bike?

It's true that on corners that rise to a crest and fall away again there is less grip, but I like that as it tests your throttle control and you can easily spin the rear tyre up. Hehe
I think this is probably a bike physics issue than the tracks fault. It's probably the same thing causing this as is the issue with uphill and downhill bike physics probs. The bike just seems to become too light is these instances; more than it should, and I think this is what is causing the loss of grip. But at least on this circuit it is controllable.

Actually it's a fixed bug. When blending multimapping was used with bump shaders and shadow, it still went through the multiply multimapping rendering path.

Noss69 was the author of that track. Unfortunately I haven't heard from him for a long time now despite having messaged him in the recent past... and we haven't got the 3D source files to fix this.

That would be an easy fix Bob, but
he asked me and I promised Noss that I wouldn't alter any of his work without first gaining permission to do so; so even though he's not responding to our PM's at this time I would still feel like I'd be betraying his trust in me if I just went ahead and sorted that without first gaining his permission to do so, you know what I mean? :) :-\
I know it seems such a little issue and some would just go ahead and do it without permissions anyway, but in my mind it's a point of principle and trust that once broken is not easily regained in people. ;)
