Drivers that have signed up and dont appear on the race day, without giving a 24 hour notice will be excluded from any future events i organize.

Its seems only fair to do it this way because you take a spot on the grid which could have been taken by another driver who can make the race.

I assume everyone knows where to get the skins downloaded from.
I will only make a skinpack for people who have a personal skin which is not already in the community and send to me.

I will look into the GUID numbers, but i think we have a huge database with the Best laps project.

EDIT: got all GUID from all drivers so far.

thats why the server is up....test and you will know.

Also test the sightninglap and warmuplap, line up up at startposition, practice youre starts.
Keep the brake on while waiting for the green light you might otherwise roll backwards.

The value you need depends on race/quali/practice length and the number of riders. I use values between 150 MB and 500 MB for my dedicated servers.
The choosen value increases the memory usage of core.exe by this amount.

The only thing MaX races is his walker...

This picture here shows him, as he just left the pit to test the new soft compound for the upcoming race :
I won't race, as Dorna and PeterV do not allow me to use my external piss-tank, they say it's illegal and in case of crash leaks would be dangerous for the others. They were a little bothered by the 4 wheels too.

On top of that, I'm still waiting for the movers to announce me when the hell they will bring my stuff (including my pc) to my place: it was supposed to be anytime from 01 Aug, but being the 28th Jul and having no news, I really think their next message to me will be something close to a ransom request.

Anyway, the geometry of the racing equipment in Jamoz's picture looks very aggressive: reverse omega backbone, trellis frame and almost no trail at all on the front. I'm sure it's pretty nervous and I'm sure Jamoz would complain saying something on the lines of "I liked the previous beta of the frame better and I was able to race around 2 sec faster, so I'm out" :)

Mostly, but I fear the ones will deliver (if ever) are french. In 11 months in scotland I've only been shafted something like 100GBP (the agency I rented with), but I'm not yet 100% back in france and I've already been shafted twice (car repair and plumber) and for much more. Cheezus, you do pay the nice weather ...

You mean an event skin-pack? Peter usually puts an event skin pack download link in the 1st post for event competitors a few hours before the event.

Speaking on a broader basis... Klax already collects and puts skins in a paints database for everyone to download, should they wish to, as part of the bike MOD database - Just release your skin in the paints section of the forum and I'm sure he'll see it and add it to the bike paints database.  ;) :)

Hello,
For those who have made a personnally skin:
Verify the size in Mo of the skin, a light size is recommended, a skin of 1 Go is not recomended.

As Hawk mentioned there are loads of skins for the 4 GP500 classed bikes obtainable through the paints database, everyone can download those. Just have a look at whos on the drivers list and download those, or download all of them. I can put them in the skinpack but thats just doing work for lazy people  ;)

Normal size is around 3 to 4 MB for a skin if you look at the skin.pnt's.
There are ofc people with bigger ones.... ;D

Never done 27 laps before on one run, I tried a practice run tonight and crashed on lap 22 and the bike died.
The bike temp was 64 so I guess I red lined the bike to many times and cooked it Yes ?
Do you guys watch the bike temperature or just stay out of the red?
Sorry if its a stupid question but I didn't fancy another run tonight to find out my head hurts from the concentration ;)

Hi mate, yeah I didnt know gpbikes had this feature.. Left the bike ticking over in pit lane this morning while I had breakfast.. Came back to play and bike had no power whatsoever.. Nice!!

Will be a tricky race not to crash and keep bike in good shape!

Worth pointing out! I was a bit too keen going over the hill on start finish straight.. Hit a red post alongside pitlane.. Core.exe!! Best to avoid the posts..   ;)

There will be no problem for the race tomorrow. The GP500 category didn't change between bike MOD 1.90 and 1.95.
At Peter's racing server only GP500 and GP1000 bikes are installed no other bikes/scooters.

Bikemod for Sundays race remains version 1.90

I hope everyone practiced there starts, there will be no restarts because of failed starts.
(only time we have a restart is when server crashes).

Make sure you have everything ready for the race, drinks, foods, smokes, batteries controler full, and the most
important....that the whole family is far away from you at that time. :) Close all internet connections besides
GPBikes, but that goes without saying. Ooh and put you're freaking phones off.  ;D

Be on time, 20:00 UK (21:00 CEST).

I hope it all goes well, (Beta5B is unknown in a race environment, so there might be unforeseen problems) and
that everyone has a good race, and please try to finish it, do not leave after it does not go you're way after a lap
or two. Dont try to win it and ruine it for everyone by going at the first bend like a kamikaze with hot sauce
heading to the toilet. Life and let life, and you will be rewarded (yes Obi-Wan has enlightened me).

Hello,
Sorry all, i haven't the right fuel quantity, strange, because i did 2 sessions of 27 laps this week with 10 liters, and this evening i did only 20.5 laps with 12 liters.:(
It was a great fun race, i started with 5 resets after a bad clutch use, i was in the wall along the starting grid, so i was last, and when i retired i was 2nd :)
I remember only 3 falls after the start reset. I tried to ride economically (fuel) about 5 laps to see if i can finish the race with more less throttle, but it was not:(

Sorry guys, i really want to do another race like that, the server worked very well, very very, thank you Peterv, and thank you all.

SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY

EDIT: I'm very interested to see the analysis window of each player, if it's possible of course.

I probably found the problems:
Sighting lap + warmup + when i did 27 laps last week i go through the pit each time and the max hud displayed a distorted lap couting. I will try to repeat that to be sure.
It was my best race on gpbikes, it was my best laps sessions with no falls:)
Thank you peter.

Hi Bob.

I agree. It would be great to have  Donington Park resurfaced and also add improved textures, and make sure all the track width and dimensions are correctly implemented, and I will certainly make a note and keep it in mind, but right now I'm too busy with another project and work. But as I said, I will certainly put Donington Park into my list of "To-Do's" for a future project.  ;)

Thanks for the thought mate!  ;) 8)
