How does one join when it shows up on the GP-Bikes website but not under the World button on the Race menu option?

I lost interest in MotoGP for a few years when VR went to the dark side and I restarted racing bicycles so I am not up to speed regarding the changes in track layouts since the early 2000s.

Is it me or are Turns 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 nothing like the actual Misano track?

I made no changes to any settings between sessions.

That was the first thing I checked. Yesterday's wind speed was zero. Also, the speed deficit is around the entire track. There are three high speed sections where I would pull red line and they are not in the same direction. Speed was down equally in all three sections.

I was spending a great deal of time testing on Spa with the 12b Moto3 bike and posted a best time of 3:03xx with terminal speeds at the end of the straights of approximately 215 kph. I did a 15 lap test and most of the laps were in the 3:05 to 3:08 range with the occasional off track excursion pushing the times up to 3:13.

Today I tried a few laps on Spa with the Moto3 and the best I could manage was a 3:11 [I was pushing harder than when I did a 3:03.258] with the end of straight speed topping out at a paltry 186 kph. The bike had no pull after the bridge on the uphill straight which did not match my recollection from the above test. I did not make any changes to my set up.

I have been playing around on Misano the last few days on both the GP125Cup and Moto3 bikes. My best time earlier this evening was a 1:48.011 [Moto3] and I then switched to Spa to break things up a bit. After going so slowly I thought I would reboot my computer and then hop back on Misano with the Moto3 to see if perhaps my computer was causing the ultra slow Spa times. I lowered my PB to a 1:47.953 so all was good there but when I went back to Spa it was still slow as slow could be. Has anyone else experienced this?

How does one post their times?

Any idea when the CBRs will be available for 12b?

So here's another silly question. Is it just a matter of separating out the tyre files into their own pkz files when taking a 11b bike and making it 12b compatible? I ask because my preferred CBR600RR has not been updated yet and I may want to take a stab at upgrading it to 12b [for my own use, of course].

Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I remember using PKZip and, I think, it had the option of using the pkz extension. I recently googled pkz and it came back with 'Winoncd Images Mask File'. I typically use 7-Zip and it unpacked fine. I just saw where simply renaming the *.zip file to *.pkz works when stitching it all back together.

You might want to try a different track. For the life of me I can not figure out my way around Victoria. I have been able to circulate Brno at a competitive real life pace on a Moto2 bike but can not make my way around Victoria no matter how slow I go. I started playing around with GP-Bikes at the same time you did.

I now do most of my riding on the CBR600RR [it has the most realistic sound] and have managed a 3:58 on the Ulster Circuit and a 3:02 on Spa-Francorchamps. These times are not exactly world class but I can do quite a few laps at a time. My personal best is 23 laps of Brno on the Murasama 990 which was long enough to shred the tires.

I do go through periods where it seems like I spend more time crashing than I do upright but then I figure something out and it gets less frustrating.

Just tried the Nurburgring NDS Track and both the Moto2 2017 and CBR600RR sound like they are misfiring. Anyone have any idea why? This is the first track where I have been able to complete five laps without crashing right off the bat [I am sure my lap times were shite, but, hey, I usually crash in the first turn of most tracks no matter how slow I am going].

Sounds odd then.  After you place the camera you should be able to move it around with the key combinations together with the mouse.

Is it completely unresponsive? I mean, does it not allow you to choose different cameras, close it etc (IE crashed)?

It just stops. I tried loading a couple of other tracks and it seems to work just like the instructional video [Laguna Seca, Imola]. For whatever reason Brno won't do anything once an 'orb' is placed and Ulster just goes gray when the Camera dialog is opened. I will try the offending tracks on both my laptop and my other [more conventional GTX960 Display Adapter] desktop sometime tomorrow.
