Just tried didn't help. :/ I can use the 990, but can't switch to anything else. Even with new profiles.

The game show me when i choose Online this message " Old Version: Please update"  But i just did it

Hi Klax.

Just read this and decided to try it myself to see if I suffer same fate, but mine is still working fine: I tested by going to "Test"(Track selected was Silverstone), selected "Bike"(to change bike category), Selected category 1000cc/ 500cc/both 125cc bikes respectively and all changed to the selected categories without a problem. So sorry Klax, I have no idea what problem is causing this core crash for you, unless you still have the MOD bikes installed as well as your said beta 5 default bikes? Maybe for some reason that is clashing with the category selection procedure? I have only the beta 5 default bikes installed.

Are you sure you did a totally fresh reinstall(no copy pasting setups or old beta 4 default bikes/Mod Bikes etc, etc)? Did you delete the beta 4 version of the "C:\Program Files\GP Bikes" folder? Also the beta 4 version of the "My Documents/Piboso"  folder too before the new beta 5 was installed?

Check your anti-virus it blocks the core.exe!

that's avast he delete core.exe , make an exeption in avast or disable avast !

Sometimes when the rider falls off the back of the bike he dissapears into the ground!

Not an issue for me really but things like this seem to be core.exe crash territory..

yeah saw that happen too and might prolly be involved in some cores...

when some rider has a fall, i can see the pilot across the track at more than 50m of height, and that's happens for a long time.
