Hi oDi ;)
This is brilliant oDi, FANTASTIC JOB, mate!!! ;D 8)
PS: I don't wish to be rude or ungrateful, but couldn't you upload this to a free download site like MEGA so people don't have to sign up to gp-bikes-italia to get it? People wouldn't mind so much if the site had an English Language version, but most of us don't speak or understand Italian. :P ;D
Update: Thanks for sorting this out, ALEale ... The download link is working fine now. Good job! ;D 8)
sorry but is this only for italian Guys ?? :-\
I will fix in few minutes ;)
fixed... GO AND HAVE FUN! :D
this is what i get on this link on italian forum .... "Sorry, an error occured. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
You do not have permission to view this topic" .......??
Hi ALEale,
I get the same error. Or is there a new link?
no wait... not fixed... few minutes.. :-[
ok try now :) sorry for the problem
Thank you, it works. Now I can start testing. ;D
And a big thank you to you, _oDi_ and Buggi for the mod. :)

Hi dibu.
Sorry if I've missed a post relating to this query, but are you planning to put this bike mod onto your server Bike Mod list? I tried to connect with this bike to one of your bike mod servers and couldn't because this Bike Mod wasn't catered for on your servers right now. Be great if you could add this! ;D ;D
I will include the Zip into the bike mod as soon as it hits version 1.0. Then I'll put in the R6 aswell.
Then it will be easier for dibu as he doesn't have to update the servers everytime a update is released ;)
Yeah but that would make one giant download ... why not keeping stuff separate ?
MaX.

Hi JamoZ :)
The R6 is not version 1.0 yet, and that is on dibu's servers? How come you suggest we have to wait for version 1.0 of the PIAGGIO ZIP POLINI SP 94 CC bike before dibu puts it on his servers? Both bikes will be updated until they hit version 1.0, no?

Yes, please keep the mods together in one official mod with version number. You can split the downloads but it has to be one single mod.
Our situation atm:
Server without mods:
everybody can connect, doesn'matter which mod(s) he has installed at his pc.
Server with mods:
only people who have installed EXACTLY the same mod(s) like the server can connect. It's no problem if they have more mods installed.
For each mod I need a separate GPB installation with all tracks, scripts and batch files. Running servers for thousands of single mods is not possible. I'm already running 2 physical and 4 virtual servers for GPB/WRS and there are seven GPB track folders (5 at the servers) which I have to keep synchronous.
I'll add everything to my servers as soon as it is included in the official mod. Everything else will be too much work.

That`s why i want to keep it as easy for you as possible ;)

OMG :o very strange... try to re-download it...
well, it was I had manual clutch, when I tick automatic clutch, the sound change, I coudn't imagine that clutch should change the sound.
anyway it seem we have different games, here the clutch is all time slippery and if anyone is complaining, so I am the only one with this issue, I had to increase this value "MaxTorque = 55.8" , these PCs are really strange
I also noticed a small bug: if I don't give gas, the engine stalls after a few seconds.
Beta2 is better to handle (it seems you touch the engine a bit).

Ok. It is not really a problem as your rarely off the throttle with so much power to handle ;D ;D
According to the files, you touch a bit the engine (it is not the same as in beta 1)
Also, the transmission ratio is very important to improve stability of the bike :
* Short transmission results in quicker response but lower stability
* inverse for long transmission
If you lose too much the front, put a longer transmission ;)

I don't think that you have a different game. ;) I've the same clutch problem. Increasing 'MaxTorque' feels more realistic for me too.

Any idea to get more grip front wheel? I lose it a lot! :(
Keep a little bit throttle applied when leaning from left to right, and also reduce the braking lever size to 20mm. You can`t really brake into a corner like on the bikes...

I'd rather say the steering ratio, this scooter should turn in a "handkerchief", on the contrary I seem it has the maneuverability of the 125, or am I wrong? please don't be upset but is the wheelbase correct?
I played a bit with the settings and you can do a few things to improve the handling of the scooter and avoid locking the front:
- reduce fuel to 5-6l
- augment the rake angle to 27
- loose the rear shock completely (it is too hard stock)
- change the tires for the super soft
- I personnally like the 20m brake lever better (more progressive)
I now manage to put some interesting laptimes ;)
If you see my server running, come and I will happily share the whole settings ;)
Last thing, you should be gentle when putting the bike right after a corner and avoid unnecessary inputs as it is quite sensitive.

I'm sure I saw the rider turn the steering wheel while cornering.... Surely this is incorrect while moving accept when moving very very slow?

What? have you tried the 125 on the kart track?
The wheelbase is corret, and the bike turn in handkerchief. Maybe before you speak, you should learn to turn .

In general that would not be incorrect: steering is (also) used to counter leaning movements (bike falling or getting up).
Steering (actually, counter-steering) is the way you change the bike lean and changing the bike lean can happen mid-turn.
If you are in a steady turn right (steady speed, steady turn radius, steady lean angle and steering angle) then if you steer more to the left the you will lean more, while more to the right you will lean less.
MaX.

I just set the swingarm to 2, 20mm brake lever and less fuel. I have no problems with the springs or rake angle. You don`t want to make it too slow to turn in :)

Thanks, man! I really like the idea of a Piaggio Cup or something like that but I was losing hope of getting up to the pace of my fellow "virtual" riders. At a chicane, the front would almost always fail but now it's super.
Thanks a million once again. By the way, any change of creating a Scooter racing event or am I unaware that they already exist. Cheers

boh, zuera. ok never mind, forget
Well... Zuera it is very difficult with this bike, i know, you have to learn very well the corners and be gentle with stick, otherwise you lose the front. For this problem we are experimenting with new solutions, and we believe we have solved ... In the next beta the bike will be even more "drivable" (to his limit) for all, and not only for top drivers ::)
no stick here, I use a G25
anyway I noticed it is easy to loose the front also with 125, the hand bar suddenly goes inside the turn, the next step is our back on the ground, so maybe the problem in the chicanes like Skusa is not in the bike but in convertions from krp?
(http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z226/kirkkonummi/screen000_zps6f6ba1c1.jpg) (http://s195.photobucket.com/user/kirkkonummi/media/screen000_zps6f6ba1c1.jpg.html)
It's probably due to rider input. I did alot of laps yesterday with ALEale & oDi and we could race quite a few laps without falling before someone made a mistake and crashed. You want to avoid steering quickly from left to right, you rather want to steer left, keep the stick or wheel in the middle for a moment and then start leaning right. If you do this to quickly you will fly off the scooter...it just takes practise and time :)
True, Jamoz, without our mistakes we could race for many laps without falling. Maybe in a "serious" race....with more concentration... who knows :)
I second that ! As long as you are not too brutal with the inputs, you can race quite long without falling. ;)
And you need to be precise with your lines as well.
It can also help to listen to the engine to know how slow you can go (try it a few time and then you will know what is the falling sound :P).
Yeah agree with JanoZ and oDi... Before give a serious feedback on a mod should ride lot of km/hr on GpBikes... There are lot of tracks.. And not all are drivable... Then if you like the mod we are grateful, if you didn't like it, no problem, we are happy the same... My advice... Drive more hour in game then writing on the forum :D
Cheers ;)
The only point I can think of right now is the throttle response. In real life the throttle response of a 70/90cc 2 stroke engine with a inner rotor ignition is something really fierce and direct. Right now the engine doesn't pick up immediately when you open throttle again. There is no heavy flywheel attached to the crankshaft so the engine will rev directly and very linear. But I can imagine this being hard to simulate within the gpb engine...
Other than that I'm having a blast with this mod :)

ah ok, thanks, but anyway it's not a realistic behaviour, Piboso should fix this common issue

Hello,
I would like to suggest a small update on the scoot : could you add more choices for the transmission settings?
DocFumi made some changes on the config file and I really like the added setup range.
Here is the file if you want to try it or integrate it in the next release : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72993931/piaggio_zip_sp%20Open%20Engine.rar

The only bikes that work with the new beta 12 will be in the BikeMOD Database here: http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2626.0 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=2626.0)
Don't make the mistake of downloading and installing old bikemods from spurious forum links that have not been updated for a long time, they won't work. :)
Anyone got a new download link to this mod, i can't find it since the forum where it was posted is closed.
