Hi guys, Since I got the game on Beta 7 I´ve been having this "connection Timeout" problem when I try to join a friend´s server, Some mates told me that with this beta 9C this issue would be fixed, but I still have the same problem, Can someone please help help me.
Thank you a lot
Can you join any other server from the 'World' list ?
Keep in mind you will need to download and install all mod bikes before trying to connect to a server, get them here:

Also the track you are trying to join:

And of course you need licensed GPB Beta 9C
yep got all the bikes from the begining and I have the same problem
But can you connect to other servers? not your friend one
yes yes, I can connect like to this "official" ones, like the ones that have this "+" (plus sign) beside it´s name, that are the one I can connect, the ones that haven´t got this "+" I can´t
Did your friend open the ports for his server?
same problem for me io can only join some BES server ! other "private" server i got also connection timeout and there is no ping speed indication !
My servers seem okay, had 12 on GPBOC8 with moto3 on A1 last night and no problems

I would say this could be the problem, not an expert in this subject, but should be the first thing to look at.
GPBOC works well also for me !
So what napalm said is probably the solution, i will search for which ports must be open
here you can read all the info needed for dedicated server:

lt all depends what he set gpb server to use
l run my 8 servers with ports 10520 10530 10540 etc and ensure to forward the exact port number not set just 10520 to 10590

Im sure some of you could create a server with opened port´s and I still wouldn´t be able to join in
The last thing I propose to you is to have a look at your firewall, perhaps it doesn't let you make all what you want.
I allow each port in the incoming of the firewall too or it gives a problem

@ Dixxturbia, have you tried to host a dedicated server yourself and configured your firewall for it on the default port? The online games that have no + sign next to them are not dedicated and I believe use the default port of 10510 (can this be changed?). Then if, like I had, you've redirected that port to another IP on your network it will not work for you (can also happen if you use DHCP and a not a static address) and you get a timeout error in game. After i'd removed this 10510 rule the port is forwarded back to the originating IP and connectivity worked again.
