As i'm new to Gp-Bikes and the forum i wanted to say hi. I'm Thomas, 24, from vienna, austria.
I'm riding a 2003 Yamaha YZF-R6 and a 2006 Gilera Runner 200VXR (4 stroke)
just feel free to answer or not
cya on the track
I'm 19 and I'm from Belgium :P I rode a pocket bike lol
I,M 72 and ride a converted zimmer frame.
Vienna, 22 and calling a CBR 600 RR PC37 my own :) My previous bike was a GS 500. Other bikes in the family: Street Triple '12, Honda Shadow and Suzuki Marauder...
See you at Katzelsberg hehe
My Name is Erik, I live in Vienna. I like reading Erotic Novels and taking long walks to the Bar. 8)
i`m 29 next month from Holland, sadly no license yet...but ridden GSX-R 1000`s, ZX-9R`s, Supermotards & an ER-6 thanks to iVolution :P
My name is Loris. I am 18, from Zagreb, Croatia. I am riding a 1990 Kawasaki KR1S modified to class 250GP (2 stroke) and just recently (last week) got a 2008 Honda CBR 600RR Supersport (140 rwhp) which is not currently race ready because of the missing front wheel but we'll get it running in time, and I am having my first race in the National Championship on April 27th 2014. Hopefully I will fight for top places. The bike is sick and is a class record holder on the circuit of Grobnik near Rijeka (old 500cc World champ races from the 80's and 90's used to run there) and I have experience from the wild 2 strokes that I rode over the past 2 years. I'm following the footsteps of my dad who raced in the National and International Championships for 15 years in all classes.. So yeah, that's me.
You can add me on FB guys if you want:

I'm a bike noob, despite being 40 yrs old.
Got my license late (at 34) and had just an Hornet 600 since, never being on a track with it.
Right now I have no bike at all, as I moved to bloody scotland, where there are just two possible conditions: wet or damp.
MaX.
43 years old here, from Canary Islands , Spain. used to ride a black ZX636 Ninja 2003. I also got my license late , at 30, my parents were absolutely against bikes.
I don't know how to ride slow ;D , i used to mount Pirelli Diablo supercorsa SC for road riding :P, so few years ago i hanged my suit, i need my body in one piece to do my job and keep the business, a single broken finger can put me away of my job for a while, i can't afford this. I really miss my bike :-\ , but thankfully i still alive.
A pic of my last ride, my farewell was on a track, best day of my life.

Sorry I did not realize we were opening up so much..well then, My name's Erik, erm, I am an alcoholic...I have got a problem, I can accept that, I'm not gonna give in to it. I'm gonna take each day as it comes. I've done a few bad things. I started when I was 14, drinking the usual cider, Newcastle brown and then whiskey, gin, vodka, special brew. Then, I moved on to stronger things, Night Nurse, Benylin. I was basically drinkin anything I could get me hands on, and that's why I´m writing today. Wait this is the Forum for GP Bikes? Bugger! Does anyone fancy a pint?

There will be a few one who are incredibly fast... ;D
Hi all. :) Well, let's see. I am from the U.S. I'm 38, Male. I'm most likely the smallest guy here. lol I have a bone disease (Osteogensis Imperfecta) makes my bones break easy and can make you small. I'm 3'3" and in a electric wheelchair. What else.. Hmm I have piercings and a several of tattoos, on my arms, hands, and back. I love simulation racing, since there is a lot of things I've never been able to do in real life. So when I play a simulation I want it as real as possible, thats why I love GP Bikes so much! I can finally feel like I am riding a bike!
I'm John, 55 and a bathroom fitter from the north of England. I been riding bikes since I was 16, had a fair number of crashes over the years and at my age it hurts more when you go tumbling down the road. So finally hung up my leathers 10 years ago and got into radio control bikes as a way to keep to the 2 wheel thing going. I've raced these bikes all over the place, Vegas, LA, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden this year, at every World Championship barring one. Whitham 69 came to a lot of these with me as well. GP bikes is so similar in many respects, that's why I love it.

I have a RC Bike a Kyosho with the Lean rider. I've only used it once I got it on eBay years ago but the guy had the chain on so loose and it slipped off. What RC bikes you run?
The old Kyosho HOR is 1/8th scale and not really robust enough. We race 1/5, the bike I have used for the past 7 years is a home built carbon framed 4 stroke powered bike (done over 2000 miles in that time), an old, crap quality on board view here - http://youtu.be/TriiLCf95RM The camera was too heavy, causing some erratic driving. Alan ahead of me (identical bike) had to go slow to keep in camera range!
There are a number of electric kits available, generally costing between £300 -£1000 for a race ready bike.
The rc bikes are nice, but a really hard to find a good track where the rent is not to expensive here in austria :(
we really need some feedback for the r6 and maybe the sound :D
I´m in mist of restoring an old "86" Kawa 650, it runs like a dream and I only paid 300 bucks for it and I put in so far
and extra 450 with brakes, tires and some small electrical stuff. I need to remove the windscreen but first I´m going to
fill it with Heavy Metal Stickers. ;D

Hi i am Ivo 27 years old from Amsterdam (The Netherlands). After driving a restricted Kawasaki Er-6f for I think 3 years, and spending the holiday trips on my dad's ZZR 1400 ;D, i got myself a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K8 a few years back (2009?) and have been driving it ever since. Since I am still a student (almost finished thank god) racing my gixxer on track is just a bit too expensive and whilst living in a small appartment my girlfriend doesn't allow for a race bike next to my bed :-\.
As for my experience with motorcycle games, i started with "The Cycles" when i was a few years old. Road rash, tourist trophy and many more have been extensively played but my favorite was SBK 2000/2001. As with most games i got to GPbikes on advice of JamoZ and guess this is as good as it gets. If this project fails ill probably hang up my virtual leathers and call it a day ;)

Joking aside, hi everybody the names Mark, plasterer by trade, 42 years of age with a daughter of 17 a son of 18 and my lovely wife aged 43.
Started on motorbikes when I was about 5 just for fun, done a few trackdays then stopped in my 20's, settled down saved the pennies then brought Ducati 996 in my 30's sold that 6 years later to get the new r1 couple of years later had a terrible accident which almost killed me but we got through.
Nowdays I like just to chill and race gpbikes and of course keep the wife sweet.
Obviously from my time spend in hospital gave me a right fetish for nurse outfits( I luv my wife and I shop in Anne summers).

Had to sell it: no time for a real bike, even less for an RC one (and the nearby track in Antibes, not great for bikes anyway, was about to be closed down).

well, gonna chip in some personal info too ... 34 yrs, from Germany, used to ride a CBR600 RR - pretty much quit riding :/ - not on purpose but with 2 kids now I just lack the time and it wasn't really the same when you know if you get hurt you don't only hurt yourself, but also your family. But I always comfort myself with the possibility of riding again if the kids are grown up ;)
For now I enjoy racing GPB - I always liked competition and I never had the opportunity to do racing irl.... so GPB is pretty much the perfect substitute.

Aaron, 33 (until June), Canada.
I just got my motorcycle license last August, currently riding a 1985 Honda Aero NH80
Looking at purchasing a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (Non ABS because it comes in red).
Started playing MotoGP (2002) after plugging in my original XBOX for the first time in years. Found this forum by complete fluke (as an actual google search for Superbike Simulators returned a lot about the SBK and MotoGP series and a bunch of shockwave and flash games but not this).
I downloaded the trial at work and will move it to my home using my phone so i can install and try it out. I can likely purchase the full version in a few weeks if I like it.
Wouldn't consider myself new, still a novice though :)
19 & from the UK, riding a Suzuki SV650s (second gen)
but i have just bought myself a Triumph Daytona 675 ;D not able to ride that till June though :( (bloody restriction)
SV650s-(http://i.imgur.com/chPmCOp.jpg?1) 675-(http://i.imgur.com/BvkNt5h.jpg?1)
I'm from the "north woods" of USA, been riding as long as I have been walking, but only got into motorcycles about 15 or 16 years ago (30 now) after some devastating BMX crashes. Played with a little bit of this and that but always had a soft spot for middleweight bikes around 400cc's, currently have a '99 YZ400F, '07 DRZ400S converted with GASGAS FSE-SM parts, a few CBR900RR's (soft spot for the early 893 engines), and a turbocharged Bandit 1200 that is eventually going to be twincharged (turbocharged and supercharged) with a full Falicon billet crank and rod setup. Shooting for MotoGP engine behavior coupling huge bottom end torque with unequaled top end punch... the ultimate so to speak.

The LFS racers are really dedicated, but people here are all nice and close knit. Hope to have good races with you guys in the future. Like Matty, I had a Triumph Daytona 675 but as a first bike. Now just a beat up sv650 superstock race bike. I don't race yet, but at least I can't blame the kit unless it goes pop.

Right now I have no bike at all, as I moved to bloody scotland, where there are just two possible conditions: wet or damp.
MaX.
Ha, that has just evolved a tiny bit !
Put the shades on your be looking like the terminator has just landed in France!
Back to south of France, the weather is now more bike-friendly and, as my birthday is approaching, I managed to get this:

Hesitated a lot on a Street R and when I finally decided to go for it it was gone. Doh !
MaX.
I am from ontario Canada, I have a 2010 Yamaha R1 , highly modded, and a 2011 bmw s1000rr . :)
I am from Germany, have a 2011 yamaha YZF R6 (racefairing, static variable footrests, LCD gear indicator, steering damper) and pretty sure that a CBR600RR 07 will come this winter.

Yohji is it possible to buy sport bikes and cars in Japan? I've read somewhere that there were limits in power and displacement
yes, until few years ago.
it was hard raglated sound, and Exhaust emission. and restricted power
motor cycle max power limited
50cc-7.2ps
125cc-22ps
250cc-40ps
400cc-53ps
750cc-77ps
over1000cc-100ps (Even 1000cc supersports too!)
(-400 bikes required normal bike license,
over400 required big license license in japan )
and supersports bikes not sell in japan untill few years ago
car power maxpower limited 280ps any cars
so many rider had bought Reinport bikes to ride Full power sports bikes(these bikes made for canada, malaysian,or anything)
But now, sound and Exhaust emission is same to EU reglated, and remove power limit. (GSX1300R hayabusa (193ps)selling in japan now)

Wow so I remember correctly. And do you know what was the reason for this? After all Japan is a leader in motorcycle development for a long time.

They say [High power is dengerous]
In practice, the cause-and-effect relationship between power and an accident is not proved by data.
in japan, motorcycle culture not penetrate...
It's more accurate to say, japanese people(GOVERNMENT) not good understand motorcycle culture.
so,,, last week, Marc marquez became MotoGP champion in japan. but almost all any media no news it...
japanese peaople(even not sports fan) knew Ichiro(base ball player),Keisuke Honda(soccer) Kei Nishikori(tenis), but, they Don't know Hiroshi Aoyama, Takaaki Nakagami, Daijiro Kato, EVEN Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi! maybe also Kamui Kobayashi...
In japan, motorcycle rider seems that it is often antisocialy...
many japanes highscool active [No three activity]
it's No Get bike licence, No ride Bikes, No buy Bikes, to highscool student... They say due to [Bike is dengerous and antisocialy]←What are you say!?!? (in japan row, bike licence can get since 16years old)
unfortunaly, japanese bike technology is very high, but japanese bike culture level is not so high...
Hi guys, I'm 29, living in London and recently got my CBT - licence for up to 125cc.

Hi Guys, Simon from Melbourne, Australia. I've got a 2008 ZX-10R, an FZ that is just way too hard to explain (only the frame still remains and it's been chopped), and a Zuma 50 (70, shhhhh) scooter for the little trips :)
