My question is where should I put the texture for Light On?
Hi Blacky, I dont know for the texture itself but the gfx.cfg has it entered in the position marked in red:
chassis
{
model
{
file = chassis.hrc
}
shadow
{
file = chassis_s.edf
}
temporary
{
file = t_chassis.edf
}
rearbrakepedal
{
name = rearbrake_lever
axis = x
maxrot = -10
}
shifter
{
name = gear_lever
axis = x
maxrot = -10
}
chain
{
name = chain
pos
{
x = -0.55
y = 0.0
z = -0.0505
}
engine
{
x = -0.110
y = 0.50
z = 0.9
}
texture = chain
axis = u
ratio = 0.05
}
leftpeg
{
type = 1
pos
{
x = -0.23
y = 0.41
z = -0.095
}
}
rightpeg
{
type = 1
pos
{
x = 0.23
y = 0.41
z = -0.095
}
}
exhaust
{
num_pipes = 2
pipe0
{
pos
{
x = -0.09
y = 0.9
z = -0.81
}
dir
{
x = 0
y = 0
z = -1
}
}
pipe1
{
pos
{
x = 0.09
y = 0.9
z = -0.81
}
dir
{
x = 0
y = 0
z = -1
}
}
smoke
{
top_rpm = 2000
max_rpm = 3000
}
}
brakelights = AO_1P_chassis_rearlens_image
}
steer
Dont know if that tells you where to put the texture or not?

I know this, but my question is where i put the texture file ;D
I guessed you did but was not sure if it would point to where the texture goes. I think h106frp is the one to ask. THis is his link for the Ducati : http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=3024.0 (http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=3024.0)
I think thats where it first got done, not sure
I look forward to seeing the new 900.

I think it works in the same way as the shift light. You apply the texture to the model itslef
Apply the texture as normal and then the game modulates the brightness
@DD a preview need some fixes with shaders and some textures but almost completed. ;)

And where I set the intensity?
That looks incredible! Amazing work! ;D

Ok... it is the most useless thing in the world. >:(
Oh Jesus that's bad :P
Piboso, any answers???
Sooooooooooo sweet
BUT I need to have yellow wheels to make the bike right for YPB, can you include the name of the wheel tga when you post it, pretty please?
Great work Blacky. This makes GPB real personal for me, thank you for so much hard work.
Like to see the brake light, but when I am alone it dont kinda matter, unless I am playing like a kiddy in 3rd person lol

Its hard to get much brightness, butt it would probably help to remove some of the very dark bits from the texture so its a bit more red
Isn't self emission lighting supposed to be implemented in a coming beta? Not sure if it was for things like stadium / street lights or bike head / brake lights, but I'd assume both really..

My first test was a texture full red, but the difference does not change much.
I do not think Piboso implements a lighting system for bikes, at least not in gpb. ::)
It was in the daily dev, I asked a question about it on the mxb board right after.. Looks like both have been removed :(
Anyway with wet tracks, the effect is more visible, better than nothing :P
