Keeping my fingers crossed... hope he gets well soon!
Looking at the pictures of the car after the accident it must have been quiet a collision :(
Keeping fingers crossed. Gutted. He is such a gentleman and genuinely nice guy.

that's terrible news, Nicky is such a great guy.
here's hoping he pulls through okay.
I'm afraid he will end up like Michael Schumacher :'(
yep, once they start putting someone into an induced coma, you know things are bad..... :(
I have no hopes... If he would survive he would be seriously disabled... If he survives... So sad... :'(
Putting a patient into an induced coma is common procedure for a serious head injury....... We will only know how serious it is when they bring him out of the coma..... Let's wait and see and hope for the best.......
Keep fighting Nicky!
Hawk.
I hope for the better, because Nicky its a great guy.
The latest news are very bad, but there is yet hope.

In 1989 I was in a bad accident and was gone for 4 mins and spent 10 days unaware of anything. They explained to my family I may not make it through the night and now I'm here with you guys 100%!!!!!!
We love you Nicky!

Double Wow! I didn't expect a reply with an ::) eyeroll.
i'm pretty sure (at least, i hope so) that the eyeroll wasn't meant as such, more likely just a bad choice of emoticon....
i can't see anyone 'eyerolling' someone who is lucky to be alive.... :D ......

That is a eyeroll? I thought that this would be like "embarrassed" smiley... Well, it was definetly not meant to be insulting or so. Sorry :-X
Well you should be- :-[ <- Embarrassed -> ::) Rolls eyes I'm just messing with you man. But I'm glad you thought the eyeroll emo was embarrassed.

My Italian Spanish told you is non-existant. Going on the images though, it seems like it may have been Haydens fault...
Such a shame, he may have been nearing the end of his career but he still has so much of life still to live. :(

Be careful about any news, if they are not from MotoGP, WorldSBK or Hayden's family.

No words...
I haven't been this gutted by bad news from the motorcycle racing world since Martin Finnegan left us in 2008... truly no words. :'(
Goodbye Nicky :'(
RIP Nicky, we will miss you :,(
Very sad to hear. We have lost a great man today. :'(
Kentucky Kid, forever in our hearts. RIP, Nicky.
Terrible news :'( :'( not fair at all
Terrible indeed.
Tonight I'm crying. Tomorrow and onwards I will honour Nicky and remember everything he has given us. Every young racer, and indeed non-racer, should have him as a role model. He was a gentleman on and off the track, a true sportsman, a great talent and one of the hardest working racers you'll ever meet. I am privileged to have seen him race during my lifetime.

Yeah absolutely horrible news! Such a talented rider and one of the nicest guys around!
Had the pleasure of meeting him at Valencia 2011 when i had my wildcard, didn't bother stopping for a little chat with a young wildcard rider in the paddock.. he will be missed!
A big loss for motorsport all around the world.. R.I.P ! Forever in our hearts!!

A great memory to cherish.
Very sad news and very unfortunate to have this fine man die so young, he had so many good years ahead. But he will be remembered - as a great rider, a true gentleman and a kind and fun person.
It is a good reminder that death is part of life and it can hit each and everyone every day. Let us enjoy life, be good to our loved ones - "carpe diem".
So sad, but thanks for the great racing memories Nicky. Thank you.

True gentleman, lovely guy, we will remember you ....
It`s strange. Back when i was following the 2006 season i remember i wasn`t rooting for Hayden, and i was devestated that Rossi lost his championship right there in the final race. For me It was just another epic season with an amazing finale.
Looking back on that season now, i feel nothing but privileged that i was around to witness him winning his well deserved championship and to watch him race in general.
Me and my wife were in shock when we heard the news, she couldn`t open facebook without crying because of all the news articles about him passing away. If one person deserved his championship after all his hard work, it was Hayden..
Was thinking about getting Sic`s number 58 as a tattoo on my lower leg, but now i`m thinking maybe Hayden`s 69 wouldn`t be misplaced either...
