My annual lap in celebration of the Suzuka 8 hour. Windows install became corrupt during capture but reinstalled and finished before the race start  :)

it feels like every bike in GPB has a magical slipper clutch anyway lol there's no ''bite'' from the clutch at all.. never had any lock ups or chatter from the rear wheel when downshifting too harsh.. ever! lol
For some corners I heel toe my downshifts actually, otherwise I have to wait to tip in. I use sequential shifter with auto clutch though.

ok..  ;) gracias por la ayuda, me imagine que el juego era gratuito.. pero veo que es super complicado acceder a el.. :-\
Se puede descargar el version demo gratis. Cuesta empezar pero no hay igual. Puedo escribir mas o menos si hay preguntas.

My annual lap of Suzuka, after an all nighter watching the 8 hour. Have to look into updating the camera angles on this track. I worked hard on the setup (attached) to go much quicker than with the R1 which had just minor changes. I just did a quick check and other games look flawless but over 25 Mbps and I lose frames with GPB, i'll re encode this one if that isn't normal.

Ive been isolated from the forum sense beta8 release when it was receiving praise. Haven't noticed any new problems, are these the same complaints from 7b or new? No problems with the front end or low sides that were unwarranted in my game play. As for the lack of mods, I didn't spend much time on the 990 before so this is good timing. The only annoying things are tires overheating from crashes, waiting for the bike to stop to reset (gotten better tho), and sector times aren't shown after riding beyond track boundaries.

It's just the replay view, from the tank camera. Most tracks don't have the option to replay from the riders perspective.

Bad question, I was asking if you can feel slip levels that are way too low to feel (obviously not). And sense the slip increases gradually up to a sudden break in traction, it's easier to anticipate rather than more difficult.

You do feel the front sliding laterally easy but usually when trail braking so you aren't on the edge of the tire.

So whenever a bike is leaned over and moving forward, the tires are slipping laterally due to the small cornering load?

That's the most interesting thing ive learned in months. I wonder about how much were talking. Enough that it adds to the difficulty of anticipating/feeling a tire breaking traction in low grip situations? Or can it really never be felt?

The idea seems simple but impossible, that's why I feel like im missing something. Would the same idea affect tracked vehicles?
25
Do you have a source that explains it? Don't think I understood.

I have never heard a name for this, I call it backing it out. Once in a while I see it at Philip Island, where Stoners sends you wide before the Honda hairpin and your left hard on the brakes leaned over in the opposite direction of Honda, and on the wrong side of the track.

I wanted to do a record lap in celebration of the Suzuka 8 hours. It could be an outright record sense it's a couple seconds under SBK/GP laps: http://gp-bikes.motonline-france.com/bestlaps.php

I want to do a cleaner lap some time, I love this track. Slide/wobble into T1 and then the front tucked. Butchered exits of 60r, degner, spoon, onto the straight. Sc times give a best lap of low 2:01, so 2:00 should be possible.

That section is a leap of faith at times, always entertaining though.

I use a wheel, so just wanted to add a comparison to the gamepad users. In my tests I notice lower direct lean gives more stability over bumps and higher max lean angle. Im using 3% and that gives max corner speed, but still allows me to get the bike sideways whenever. 100 gives a faster response and better control, and works perfect for more of a point and shoot riding style because the rider doesn't automatically steer into slides to correct them.  About 23% felt most realistic, but any setting can be fast with a wheel.

EDIT: I found out direct lean isn't working correctly for me, so disregard this post.

I traced the UV frame making it into a shape and then set the image as a pattern, hoping there was a way to warp to shapes or paths. Manual warp it is then.

Cheers!
