So what's happening tonight with this event?
What bike/s are we using?
What's the race format, etc, etc?

Really good questions Hawk and one of my first thoughts at daybreak this morning (gpbikes brain fry this is).
The quest for keeping everyone happy is unachievable.
I'm thinking lets see how many/who turns up and decide there. Personally I think 3 quick races on each bike would be a lot of fun which is the idea of the Fun Race event. We can always hold say, a M3 full length race as a Main Event sometime?
Even if you hate scooters and love M3's why not don a pair of goggles and get out there!
Your thoughts?
If i can make time tonight, i am there for sure!! :D
And personally i would love all 3 short races, would be fun with adapting to each bike and trying some different sprint races ;)

Attention with the KXF450 I broke twice the engine. With the MOTO3 I think that we can be 100 % of the running(race) with the full tank of gas. I did not look at the gas consumption on this circuit.
i suggest to change the cat. to e.g. Moto2. nice to ride, no frontend problem like on moto3 on that circuit and less power than a wss but very dynamic.

Eh? No Endurance races tonight!
Engines break if they go over the breaking engine rev limit don't they? Usually if changing down too soon on bikes without a slipper clutch which can easily make them rev past their limiter setting. So is this a bike problem or a riding style problem?? :-\

Personally I think we should adapt to the tools we have, rather than finding another tool. Otherwise half these bikes are never going to get ridden (!) which would be a shame. Adapt and overcome Gunny Highway!Slow down, catch the lovely scenery etc...
But I just make ideas and go with what the majority wants in the end. Some members said they wanted a Scooter Race so that was put on - we are now morphing it to a GP1000 endurance race. >:( Not really fair is it. I cant even really make a majority decision because its so equal in the votes.
So as it is getting late and a decision is needed, tonight will be 3 x 5 lap races starting with Scooter then Supermoto, then M3. Come have fun (hopefully) if you want to. Times as stated in the canvass thread.

In real life you can just change track, bike etc. Just because you don't like it that day ;)
I think it is great with those small events where we can try something different! And so what if an engine break? We have 5 lap sprint races and another race is cominh after :D
And this is not the owners club races that gives point like the sunday races, this is a smalæ come together fun event :D
So let's go have some fun and go as fast as we can on whatever the club comes with :D
I'm getting a Data Mismatch on connection to the server Nick.... What bike versions have you got on your server? :)

I'm processing a couple of work files at the moment. It'll be 15 -20 mins before it's finished, but for sure I'll let you know as soon as it's finished. Time is getting tight... I hope it works. I haven't had chance to do any practice yet. Lol ;D

Do any of you have the old Polini Zip? Might be the problem because now there is 2 different. I get Data mismatch too.
In the new bikemod file, there is a Polini Zip 70cc and 94cc. if you don't erase the old with name "Polini Zip" it will still be in your bikes folder.. can that be the problem?

If people start installing old versions that are not in the latest bikemod version it will make the situation worse.....
The only bike not in the bikemod version is the supermoto bike, so that is likely to be the source of the problem, as there are several different download links for that bike. :)

PS: Best thing to do would be to zip-up the supermoto bike file direct from your bike file Nick, and publish that via your dropbox. That way it'll have to be the same file. ;)

OK I have loaded the server just with KX450, Vespa and M3 set so u should be OK.
I assume no0-one will be using Zips??

It was in the old there was the Poloni Zip, if you download the new bikemod and just owerwrite old files, you will still have old Zip, that is not in the new one.
Might be the problem :)

Damn! cored out of that last M3 race after being quite close to Yan and think i could keep up pretty well, but we never got to see and i'm sure Yan took the victory safe and sound ;)
fun racing tonight! really enjoyed the different challenges and to win the Scooter race after wanting a scooter race for a long time was awesome! :D

Me too very strange - so many cores but only with M3 bike?.
But for Vespa and Supermoto I had a right laugh there.
When I thought Boeren maybe only knew one gear on Vespa I could not stop laughing so much I couldn't take the corners. Ohh so sorry Boeren my old friend hopefully you enjoyed it too.
really enjoyed the Supermoto I was throwing it around quite nicely by the end.

Well... What happened in the last race? There was only me and Yan left and Yan waited for me several times on the pre-last lap then he crashed and I shot ahead and beat him. LOL ;D
Nasty of me I know Yan.... Sorry about that mate, you should have won that one but thanks for the gift win! ;D 8)
Anyway, I enjoyed the racing with you guys..... What's next in the club schedule after this Sundays event Nick! ;D

I heard you say you were "feeling mischevious tonight" and its a bloody good job I heard it too with that race set-up you gave me (with 30 seconds to the race start) only having 2 litres of fuel in it! Good job I cored out before sucking air.
That and stuffing Yan - perhaps we can have the nice Hawk back for the next event hahahaha ;D
I don't know about next fun event open to suggestions - how about GP12 vs GP125 at Mallory. You might laugh but will you put your money down!!!!!????
Had a thought about the cores seen mainly with the M3 last night.

Between Scooter and Supermoto events I used the soft server reset. Between Supermoto and M3 I only reset to the Practice session but didn't have a hard or soft server reset. I expect that had a LOT to do with it.
