Not a fan, but could be intresting (http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2016/04/18/lorenzo-set-to-take-on-new-challenge-with-ducati/198703?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Traffic&utm_content=Lorenzoducati)

I was such a fan of Ducati  ;) :P

It will be a shame to possibly see their first win with a Spaniard who is hated by the Italians ::) and it will be an even bigger shame to lose one of the current riders (probably Dovi given Iannone recent performance)

There's quite a lot of chopping and changing next season, Smith to KTM, Viniales looks to leave Suzuki so possible slot of ex-Duc rider or Pedrosa if Honda drop him (when's his contract up?)

Never been big fan of Ducati. Like their recent effort and bikes in MotoGP though. Bad to see the current line-up ruined by that annoying spanish weener!

Well anyways, i hope he won't win at that bike. If he do, Jorge-fans will tell he is a better rider than Rossi because he can win with Ducati when Rossi couldn't without realising that Ducati is a million times better bike now than it was just few years ago.

It will be a true pain in the ass if he wins or is fighting for podiums every race!

MotoGP is not what it used to be unfortunately! At least still far better than F1 though.

Will be interesting to see how Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM, Honda, Tech3 will line up for next year, and the extra spot that LCR and Pons is fighting for ;)

After last years escapades I lost respect for Marquez and Lorenzo. Dont care about them as long as Dovi gets a chance to not get knocked off anymore.

Dont get all up in my face about these words. My first and last visit to thread lol

Haha we are in same boat mate! Honestly, i have been sick and tired of Marquez since he moved to Moto2 and became a shitty aggressive rider making way too many fucked up moves!

Jorge have been a MotoGP cry-baby for a while, never been a fan, never will be!

Over and out!

Same here, and i'm Spanish  :P.
Only Spanish rider i have respect for is Dani Pedrosa.

How lose fans in one move  ::) brilliant!  ;D

EDIT: the perfect team for Ducati is Stoner + Dovizioso.

Lorenzo set to ruin his career. His decision to move is demonstrative of his desperation to get away from the reality of Rossi's superiority over him at Yamaha, and of course, the ever increasing tensions after he won a fixed championship.

I'd like to press "fast forward" on this season, just so I can see Lorenzo struggle, lol.

I think its a good move for everyone, very healthy for the sport. With Rossi entering his final years it is time to shake things up a bit.  I'd like to see Suzuki and KTM be front runners as well.  Also would be nice to see Dani win a world championship as he is such a nice guy and a great rider.

You'd be surprised to see that not all the italians are unconditional 46 supporters (actually there're quite a few that are in the other equally silly camp, i.e. unconditional 46 detractors).
But why 1st win ? They've already won races, and with an aussie that wasn't really that friend with vale :)

I find the move interesting: the bike is good at the moment, but with Ducati you never know, one year after it could be a catastrophe (maybe less now that the germans have kicked in).
So it's still a bit of a gutsy move from JL for me, just like it was gutsy when Rossi came to Ducati. Not that the 1st reason wasn't the money anyway :)

Also interesting is to see what Iannone or Dovi can do versus Lorenzo, assuming one of the two will be kept.

Anybody thinking there's a remote chance of having Lorenzo and Stoner aligned ?
Because if it is announced I think the japs will just triple their budget for bike development for the next year, just to be on the safe side :)

Ducati cares about Ducati fans, not Rossi (or any other rider) fans.
Simply because they prefer a fan that buys a ducati bike to a fan that buys a Rossi (or Lorenzo) t-shirt or videogame :)

With Lorenzo that is paid in gold bars, is impossible for Petrucci get a official bike, now I see well Petrucci in Yamaha with Rossi.  ::)

I don't know how anyone can be a fan of MotoGP and not like Rossi?

Rossi is hilarious. I love his response at Laguna after the cork screw pass on Casey when interviewed, his reply- "abouta what?, yes this, this is racing"  Stupid as a fox.

I think everybody appreciate him for his immense, incredible career.
That doesn't mean that everybody *always* agree with his own view of the things.

That was somewhat funny indeed. Trouble is, if you go and rub it in the face of your steaming opponent, at the 1st occasion he will do the same with you.

But how hilarious was he when he asked for a wall in the pits between himself and his rookie team mate ?
I haven't heard many of his fans saying that was a bad move ...

Given the difference in riding style, I guess they won't bother at all. They'd probably puke at each other setup :)

Or cry about the other have a faster bike and are riding unfair and the bike is build for the one who is faster ;) they are both a bit of some crybabies, it will be a fast team, but not one i would want to listen to at press-conferences!

Altough i never liked Casey back when he was racing (personality), i liked his racing and miss him on track :)

Do people really believe Stoner will ever come back to full time pilot?  Teamed with Lorenzo would be silly no?

If Lorenzo is smart he will request Dovi.

I dont honestly belive he will come bacl. It would be nice to see him ride the bike and possibly win but it not going to cry if he never rides a bike again :P

And i hope Ianone stays, hes got a long future in Moto GP, well longer than dovis got left :)

Ianone  would be better off away from Lorenzo for his future IMO, hence why I think Lorenzo's safe move would be Dovi.  Dovi is respectful and a team player where as I think Ianone is a bit sharp around the edges and conflict will ensue.

Ianone @ Suzuki maybe?  Or maybe even with Rossi? Who knows, either way things are getting exciting.

I think Cal Clutchblow should go to Factory Yamaha as its soooooooo obvious that he has a much stronger pace than everyone in the field.  ;D   If it wasn't for gravity Cal would be world champion every year.

Funniest thing from Rossi was way back (forgot when exactly) when after winning a race, Carlos Checa (who came second) was displeased, and flew passed rossi at 300kmh+ as Rossi was riding a cooling lap and waving to the fans.

When a reporter asked: "... and what do you think about how Checa passed you on the straight after the race?". Dude replied: "Ahaha yes, well he's used to doing bullshit like that. Evidently he's pissed as fuck for finishing behind every Sunday. Cheers!", and walked away cheerfully.

If Lorenzo had experienced what Checa did, he would've thrown a fit, and turned the whole thing into a sour scene.

Dude I smoke in the shower!!!

When your riding 16 hours a day, everyday you get used to doing it all on a bike lol.

After watching the MotoGP today I feel sorry for Ducati...............

What a fuckin pussy!!!

Rossi showed him how to ride and the lil bitch that Lorenzo is he had to blame his tyre!!!

ROssi managed to ride with it ok and because Lorenzo was not 1st he GAVE UP!!! Within 2 laps Rossi had doubled the gap, Rossi would NEVER have given up and so "OH my tyre is a bit bad I must slow down a lot as I am shitting my panties" when really it was he could NOT catch Rossie!!!

Great race and the Moto3 was brilliant too.

Haha absolutely agree!! BIG +1 on this!!

Jorge is and have always been a bit of crybaby, just like stoner, it was never his fault if he couldn't win, always bike, tyres or the other riding unfair! Makes me want to puke! Man up and admit you was just not fast enough today!

The Moto3 was absolutely amazing race!

Moto2 on the other hand, that was a bit of a boring race today.

Will be fun to see if Jorge suits the Duc, i guess he will cry about it not being able to ride smoothly!

Moto2 boring?? Nasty people. Great result for the winner and his Birthday present to our Queen. No more boring than the GP  as far as actual racing goes. In fact much more action through the field during the race.

Anyway its all boring compared to the prospect of Hengelo tonight!

Yeah, you are absolutely right, there wasn't much fighting for the first places in either Moto2 or MotoGP, i just think both races was a bit the same all race, great win in moto2 and motoGP though :)

But yeah! really looking forward to the Hengelo race!
