Classic bikes modders, be careful please: there are countless errors in the webpage (wrong bike names, factory bikes instead of production bikes, etc)
Also, if anyone wants some pictures of racing motorcycles, here are some interesting classic bikes that I have regular access to for close up pictures (about 3 times a year):
*: have ridden it so I can give some feedback on the physics.
- 1979 Yamaha TZ 750 (*) - being modeled on by rodney007
- 1980 Yamaha TZ 350 (*)
- 1981 Yamaha YZR500 0W53 Factory bike
- 1982 Yamaha YZR500 0W60 Factory bike - being modeled on by Hawk UK!
- 1986 Yamaha YZR500 Factory bike (can't remember the 0W code :P)
- 1988 Yamaha YZR500 Factory bike (in about a year, it's being worked on by the mechanic)
- 1989 Yamaha YZR500 Factory bike
- 1989 Yamaha FZR750R 0W01 (*)
- 1992 Yamaha TZ 250 (*)
- 1997 Honda NSR500 Factory bike (Mick Doohan) (in about a year, it's being worked on by the mechanic as well)
Ouch, you forgot a (*) on Doohan's 1997 bike or you have actually ridden it ? That would be quite an experience !
MaX.
No I didn't ride it :P Edited my message that could have been confusing.
I still have hope to ride a factory 500 GP bike some day. It's not impossible but definitely not soon!!! I have secret hopes that maybe one day the YMF Classic Racing Team owners, once they get old, would let me try a 500 just once. But I think it's just a dream :( We'll see. But that's just me being very very greedy :D
Trying a TZ500 in the near future is more likely and would be pretty f****** cool already
