If it's the same as MX Bikes you can apparently do this manually by editing the controls text file http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=241.0 (http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=241.0), I've never tried it though, if you do let us know if it works please.

Yeah it worked!
This is what my "controls.txt" looked like when i had the rear brake unassigned.

Then what i done was i copy and pasted from the "AXIS(bunch of numbers)" from the "CTRL_BRAKE"(which is the front brake) so it looks like this

Then just save and thats it sorted.

EDIT: MADE A MISTAKE LOL

What you need to do is assign the rear brake ingame, quit out and copy the "AXIS(bunch of numbers)" line from the "CTRL_REARBRAKE" line,
then you go back in game and assign it to the front brake again, then quit out and paste the line you copied over the "CTRL_REARBRAKE" line.

EDDDIIITT ffs.
yeah i don't think i did make a mistake, THIS IS SO CONFUSING

Yea good, so it works  :) but the method might need some clarity. Could it be the controls are reset when you go into the settings screen in game, this happens in MXB if you manually set your FOV above the menu limit, if you go to settings in game it resets things to he menu parameter limit, removing your manual edit of said setting?

for me it works fine, i am use the following settings for the rear brake:
Deadzone: 20%
Linearity: 0%
Press: 100%
Release: 10%
Gain: 50%
